Casa Beula

Taganga, Colombia

The woman was very nice and the place was clean and pretty to stay in but our experience was one of the worst :( It was very hard to communicate since we speak only a little Spanish and she only spke Spanish. There was only one key for four people to get in so we got locked out twice on time for (two hours) and eventually had to find something to screw the bolts off the door because no one was home to let us in. And no running shower water ?? :(

Cabanas Luz de Luna

A great environment the hostal really cared about the guests and made sure we had everything we needed. Family run. More personal. Trying to create a home and community environment, we all had a bbq together on New Years and everyone chipped in. A lot of the people have been staying for a couple months, and all spent time together. Stay here if you plan to spend at least a few days, and are looking for more than just a bed to sleep in. The only thing missing is there is no computers or TVs.
