staff were all really helpful and friendly. i received a great welcome. im not really sure why we all need to leave at 11 am and cant return until 4:30 pm buti guess i would have gone out exploring anyway so it didnt matter.the beds are super ordinary. very hard and the sheets are very old and not big enough to fit the mattress. its a short walk to the bus stop and easy to get around by bus. its a little far to walk to the city.

Danny gave me one of the best welcomes I have ever had. the door opened and he took me upstairs and fed me full of pancakes then gave me a full tour of the place. all the staff here were so fantastic. their heart was in the job and they really cared for all of us. it was a little community. the beds were super comfy and apparently i snored a little which i NEVER do, so i must have slept well. clean bathrooms. 4 blocks from union station and a view of capitol from the window. love it here...

great owner. good directions and runs a cool place. great front garden by the water. it is off season so i know why the pool is empty. the rooms were pretty good and the beds were really comfy. bus stop right at the front to take you anywhere and shops every where nearby. restaurants and supermarkets across the road. old town is a heap of fun and a short bus ride up the road or 20 mins walk. id stay here again for sure. it doubles as a motel but the dorms were full of other traveleres.

beds were ordinary and none of the staff seemed to really care but they did their job alright. location was good and pancake breky was ok. but the $4 per bag per day for storage was pretty steep. in over 100 hostels in 103 countries ive never paid to store a bag. it is a party hostel and attracts that sort of people. its loud and silly and lots of movement late at night in the rooms. id probably pick another place next time i go but it was ok.

staff were busy but still helpful. great, free pancake breakfast, wifi only in the lobby not in the rooms. bedding was a little ordinary but for the price it was perfect and the location is on the main drag only a few blocks form the busy area. overall a great place for a backpacker on a budget to stay. the directions form the greyhound are wrong though. the easiest way is walk a few blocks to the airport bus station and take the bus marked 150 all the way to washington st and 5th. EASY! $2.35

staff were great. very friendly and helpful. warm welcome. very old run down building with horrible beds and dirty rooms. holes in walls, mouse traps in the kitchen. my room was warm but the whole building was a bit cold. antique tv and VHS to use. yuk bathrooms. my room only had permanent guests. so there was clothes and stuff everywhere. very strange and not a great stay.with some upgrade and renovation this could be a 5 star hostel. perfect building to start to create it. great location tho.

the owner was so welcoming to me when i arrived. there is a cafe on the ground floor and the hostel is in a small lane way lined with restaurants from where you are looking directly at the blue mosque. perfect location with the tram right there as well. from artaturk airport its about 30 min door to door. great beds and bedding etc, lockers, very clean and warm. i have stayed in many ,many hostels in istanbul this is my 3rd trip here and this is the best hostel of them all.

rudest unfriendliest staff ive ever seen. no body said hello once and on check in i had to wake the staff up at 1pm after waiting out in the snow for 10 minutes waiting to get inside. didnt tell me anything or show me around. just grunted at me and pointed to my bed. whole place stinks of cigarette smoke and wifi is very slow in the rooms. the room was so cold that my bottle of milk was frozen solid overnight. no tourists stayed here only russians and old people. nobody cares about the guests...

Great location and friendly staff. Rooms were very small and badly lit. Lockers were tiny with very little floor space to store bags. No hot water the entire 4 days I stayed. Luke warm at best. Free wifi in the lobby cafe with tables and chairs and games its not a bad place to stay but there are cheaper hostels within 5 minutes walk with much much better facilities. I dont regret staying here but would not stay again or recommend it.

This place was the best hostel I have stayed it in a really long time. Everything is new. The bedding was so warm and the rooms were great with hot showers and good water pressure in the rooms. The common room has everything and the staff were all so helpful and spoke english well. Daniel is the owner/manager (I think) and he was really helpful. The traditional courtyard style buildings were really cool and only 5 minutes to dongsi station and right in the middle of a shopping and eating area.

okay place pretty close to the brandenburg gate and the city centre but the internet and laundry service is pretty expensive. the tv room is now the smokers room. surely the tv could have stayed and the smokers just go outside. the 36 bed dorm is cheap but not good if you want to sleep. i did the pub crawl tour on the 2nd night so it qwas no problem for me to get to sleep that night.

really cool place with a good vibe. the computers are so crap and theres not really a common room. the rooms are pretty cramped and 1 person from the staff didnt seem to wana be there or do much to help.the breakfast is crap and really expensive. its not a buffet. its bread and cheese and jam. . other than that its pretty cool. id stay there again coz its the cheaper of the hostels in copenhagen

Hej Daniel, people keep stealing that DVD and we keep replacing it! Sorry you were here between those two events... Thanks for the good review despite of this, and welcome back any time! Lena
