More like a hotel than a hostel. Very neat clean rooms. Not near the old town, but frankly you get to see the real city here. A few good milk bars nearby, as well as a metro stop about 6 minutes away by walking. If you have the time, go to Male Piwo, a great beer bar about 10-15 minutes away.

Good: Staff is friendly. Location is very central. Price is right. Lots of people, if you want that. Cornflakes were there for breakfast. Bad: Wifi doesn't work. Only 2 toilet/bathrooms, which sucks in the morning- only 2 people can be in the toilet at a time, so lineups are too common! Showers are less than clean, and heat/pressure don't work very well. Sound insulation wasn't very good in the room- all noise from the balcony can be heard all night. Mattresses are paper thin and notcomfortable.

Good hostel, if a bit dull. Well equipped, friendly staff. About 20 minutes walk from Old Lyon, but very close to Croix Rousse (Just take the walkway by the fort up the hill)

A good hostel. Not central, but about a 20 minute walk from Westminster. Great view of the Battersea Power Station, great for Pink Floyd fans. The breakfast was average- toast, some hardboiled eggs and yogurt. Good fish and chips nearby, but I didn't try their in house restaurant. One letdown was the pub- they didn't serve any real ales, the ambience wasn't exceptional, and the cost, while not extreme, wasn't particularly good (3 pounds/pint from 6-7pm, 3.80 otherwise). Friendly staff.
