I stayed at Ashfield for the second time and was not disappointed. The staff are great and so friendly, they were so wonderful about helping me book day trips, giving precise directions and even putting out breakfast early when I had an early departure (and a special shout out to Connor for being awesome!). Great location steps from Trinity College, Temple bar and anything else you could desire. Security is great, facilities clean. I would definitely recommend giving this place a shot!
A safe and relaxed hostel located on a quiet street right off the lively Botanic Avenue. Staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful, and the facilities are quite nice and clean. The only fault is that there aren't very many bathrooms, and could use one on the top floor. Definitely recommended!
Lovely place in beautiful Wicklow town, the hostel is family-run and very comfortable. Ian will drive you to Glendalough for a small fee if you do not have a car, though the charming town itself should not be missed. Great location overlooking the small channel and next to a pub which hosts live music.. Hostel is clean, hospitable and has a homey and relaxed vibe: I have absolutely no complaints!
Incredible location right in the heart of Dublin. Clean, secure hospital that really takes care of you: they will help arrange trips and orient you in the city. Great youth vibe without being too loud. Amazing, kind and helpful staff who were very welcoming and add to the vibe (with the exception of one of the desk girls who was a little rude, but everyone else was lovely!). I would definitely recommend booking here, and plan on returning.
Definitely a party hostel, and good place for meeting people. The room was quite small but the staff very friendly and helpful. Location is in a great neighbourhood a short walk or Metro trip from the city centre. Recommended for people who want to party and don't mind being kept up late.
I loved staying here, it was more like a hotel than a hostel. Large, clean rooms with very comfy beds, excellent facilities and a perfect location just up the hill from the Charles Bridge. The staff were very helpful and I enjoyed my time here. It's not a great place to meet people, but is definitely recommended as an ideal place to stay and enjoy Prague.
This hostel is just wonderful! The facilities were very nice and there is a pretty garden in which to enjoy the sunshine. A huge shout-out to the staff who are incredible friendly, accommodating and welcoming. While a little off the beaten track, the place is easily accessible by Metro and in a quieter suburban neighbourhood. It has a great, chill vibe and everyone is very friendly.
The location is good, just a 15 minute walk to the city centre. The atmosphere isn't great, and the facilities leave something to be desired. You have to keep pushing a button to make the showers work, and they are a far walk from where the rooms are situated. The rooms are very cramped and do not have much natural light. Bathrooms weren't very clean. It was fine for a three-night stay and very cheap, however.
The hostel is in an amazing location, right next to S. Marco's Square. While not particularly good for socializing with other visitors, the price is very agreeable for a convenient and comfortable place to sleep with a nice four bed room plus ensuite. The staff were kind and the facilities clean.
This is more like a hotel than a hostel: the facilities are very modern and clean. There is a bar in the basement along with many other useful utilities, but the noise did not carry to our room as we were on the third floor. The staff were friendly and the location is prime, in close proximity to both main city attractions, markets, and places for cheap food such as sushi. We had an ensuite room with our own little kitchenette which was just lovely.
This hostel is well worth the money: it is an excellent location in the beautiful area of Kensington and in a very lovely area that caters to tourists. The hostel is in a Georgian townhouse and is in walking distance from Kensington palace and gardens, as well as a short tube ride away from other London sights. The only issues are the lack of wifi and that there are few bathrooms, so you sometimes have to wait for a while in the morning. Overall, worth the price!
This is a beautiful hostel: its a restored old aristocratic town house that has been lovingly restored. Each room has a plaque outside detailing the historical use of the room, adding to the atmosphere. The facilities are lovely, quiet and clean. The hostel's location is perfect: its a two minute walk to the train station, a hundred metres away from Micklegate Bar and the city walls, and a less than 10 minute walk to the rest of the city, via the pretty streets or along the historic city walls!
This hostel is in a great location and had nice, clean rooms. The downside would be that the showers were cold and did not function very well. Also, it was extremely noisy at night and rather cold (though I did visit in January). The staff were friendly and the atmosphere welcoming, just the facilities were a bit lacking.
