São Paulo Street Hostel

Sao Paulo, Brazil
80%

Average place. But for the price in São Paulo you can't beat it. There are 2 dorm rooms and they have 3, 3 level bunk beds. There are lockers in the room which will fit maximum a 40L bag. There are 2 showers which are not bad. Not the cleanest but clean enough. You can only shower one shower at a time or else you won't get warm water. Breakfast is very very simple apples, bananas, toast and butter. The kitchen is small and simple but has all you need. About a 10 min walk to the metro station.

Chill On The Beach Hostel

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

This is an amazing hostel. Let me say that we were there on a promotional weekend so the price was about half price. Otherwise it is a very expensive hostel. But you get what you pay for. Excellent breakfast (fruit, cake, bread, ham and cheese, juice, tea, coffee), showers are excellent. Very clean rooms. 3 level bunks. Beds are a bit uncomfortable because of plastic covers but I guess it's to prevent bed bugs. Less than 5 minutes to the beach. Close to supermarket. Great staff!!

Super cheap, very clean, great place. They have lockers, a kitchen and very clean bathrooms. Although the hot water wasn't working too well. We just lived that it was so cheap. Can't get better value than this.

This hostel is amazing. New facilities, it's amazingly clean. We stayed in a 4 bedroom dorm with aircon and fan for $15 pp per night. Great value. The kitchen was great, clean and well equipped. They definitely put a lot of effort knot this hostel. The showers and toilets are super clean. I would definitely recommend this hostel. We had a very comfortable stay.

There is a kitchen but probably not well equipped. Best to bring your own lighter to light up the gas. Average place to stay. They provide a cooked breakfast which is great. They have rum nights and there's plenty of space to meet other travellers. Staff are nice enough and accommodating. Gets stuffy in the rooms without A/C. Not a bad stay, but probably better quality accommodation for similar prices on the island

Less than 10 min walk to the main square. We stayed in a private room and were very happy with it. There's a hand washing sink for your clothes and clothes lines to hang your clothes. Our stay at Marrakech was great. Their family that works in the hostel is so friendly! We had a really great time. Its a great location. Literally minutes walk to the square. The facilities are what you would expect of Morocco. Dont expect anything too fancy and you wont be disappointed but the showers and toilets work fine and do their job. Their isnt really a kitchen so dont plan on cooking. The staff are wonderfully friendly. The beds were comfortable. We slept very well.

Good value hostel. Most Staff are friendly. Can be quite a busy hostel at times. Well equipped kitchen. Small spaces for toilet and bathroom downstairs but totally manageable. Door in the 10 bed dorm can be annoying as it beeps when people open it which can frustrate sleepers. But we enjoyed our stay here.

For the price you pay it's very well located only 17 min by tube to central london. There are lots of nice shops and supermarkets nearby. The room and bed was sufficient and clean. No bed bugs. This really is a party hostel!! Normally we keep to ourselves but the atmosphere in this place is great. That is diligence! A++ for effort. We had a great time at this hostel. Pasta and cocktail nights were awesome. The kitchen is very small but enough to cook whatever you need.

There are no locks on the doors to the dorms and the lockers are quite flimsy as in someone could pull off the door if they wanted to. However we were not too fussed with this. The kitchen is small and basic but has all you need to cook food. Its about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the city centre. There is a shower and toilet in the dorm which work fine and is sufficiently clean. Overall if you are looking for a fancy hostel maybe pay a bit more however for the price you pay its pretty good.

This was a fantastic B&B! It was extremely clean with beautiful, large and spacious rooms. The shower was excellent and clean. Breakfast was great with 2 types of cereals, pastries, cookies, yoghurt, fruit, tea and coffee. Luca was very accommodating and friendly. It's an easy 15 minute walk to the city centre which wasn't a problem for us. There is a kitchen but it's generally for breakfast use and tea and coffee making. Everything about this B&B was great.

The is one of the best hostels we have stayed in. Milan is an expensive city so it is a reasonably priced hostel and you definitely get what you pay for. Great, clean, large dorm rooms with clean shower and toilet in the dorm room. Big lockers and dorm room has a lock. Breakfast was a croissant and tea and coffee which was appreciated. Kitchen has everything but you need to get utensils from reception. All sites are within walking distance and easy to get to. Worth the money.

We stayed in a twin room. The room was very nice. It was large and clean as were the shower and toilet. A buffet breakfast is offered at 5E per person. Its about a 5 minute walk to the old town so great location. Good value for a twin room however I believe there are cheaper pensions for about 90 ron for a twin room. The staff were nice enough but at times didnt seem very welcoming. We would recommend staying here.

I find it strange this hostel has been rated so highly. I felt unwelcomed here. I didn't believe the american girl below in her comments before coming here but agree that at times bins are overflowing and flush doesn't work very well in toilets. There still unfortunately a bed bug problem as someone told us the week earlier they were bitten. We were not bitten however. Did not like staying in this hostel. If staff were more welcoming and friendlier i think this hostel could be a whole lot nicer.

The dorm room was downstairs in the basement. It was big and clean enough as we're the showers and toilets. Unfortunately I had a bad experience at this Hostel and whether it was the owners fault or not it affected my time in Cappadocia. I got severely bitten by bed bugs and I am extremely allergic to all insect bites. The bites covered both my arms, my shoulders, chest, neck, face, back and legs. It was horrific. The owner said that they fumigate the rooms every month and that the bugs were probably brought by other guests. This was not good enough for me.
