Enso Hostel, Medellin, Colombia

I loved my stay at Enso hostel! The staff is amazinggg! There is a nice chilling area in the middle of the hostel, so perfect for mingling. However, the vibe was prettyyy chill, which is good for those who don´'t party that hard. There is one hot shower (woohoo!) and the other is cold. Free breakfast is nice and simple. The beds are made up every day, regardless if you're staying the night or not. Very clean hostel. I will definitely come back as I live 3 hours away from Medellin.

Staff is not very social or inviting, except for Julia, who always has a smile on her face. They all only speak spanish (fine for me, not my sister). The atmosphere is truly lacking. There is a free breakfast which is pretty good, and the beds are really comfy, as well as there is AC in the rooms. The 5-bed dorm is really something, but as long as you don´'t have the bottom bed of the 3 superimposed ones it's totally fine. The showers are cold which is fine in Cartagena. Nice neighborhood.

My sister and I came here and absolutely loved it! (and we both work in the hostel industry). There is an on-site bar with an amazing view on the valleys, where you can enjoy a reasonably priced beer and in the morning, the free breakfast (simple but buffet style, so you can have as much as you want). The coffee farm they recommend is VERY nice and the hostel is close to the jeep pick-up to go to valley de cocora. The staff is amazingly nice, and you can meet some very cool people too. GO:)

After seeing the pictures of this hostel, I knew I had to stay here, and it did not disappoint! Filled with plants and flowers, you feel right at home, and the colorful 4 hammocks allows you to read or rest in a beautiful, quiet courtyard. The owner, Leandro, is extremely friendly and helpful, and if you're lucky he'll take you to the nearby waterfall. This tranquil spot is perfect to relax and 'descansar,' though the early free breakfast time makes it hard to sleep in ;)

Really chill hostel, had a great time there! The staff is super friendly and the beds are comfy. However, the breakfast is very, very small and they limit how much bread you can take which is a bit strange.. The food to buy is super expensive so I never ate there but the happy hour drink deals are pretty good. Overall nice hostel in a good location. (There is no kitchen)

One of my favorite hostels of all time, I felt like I had a small family for 3 days. The volunteers are all amazing and I met some great people here. On top of that, the free breakfast is yummy and filling, and their 5 soles smoothies are a perfect hangover cure. There are events every day so you never get bored or go hungry, and the beach is less than a minute away. I fully recommend this hostel. There is also a high platform with a hammock overlooking the beach 😍

A bit out of the center, but no hostel can be very far in this tiny town. Very great price for all you get, you can even use the kitchen to cook some food. There are hot showers and hammocks in the backyard. The staff is super friendly but there lacks a bit of atmosphere as there is no place to hang out other than the kitchen.

I loved staying at this hostel, I could've stayed forever if not for the price... And that I'm a traveler! The staff is super nice and friendly and will remember your name, and the pool table creates something for people to bond over. For some reason everyone staying there was super chill and awesome, so we were all hanging out together. A campfire is started every night, and even though they sell food, there is also a kitchen which is great. The dorms are big but I slept well anyways. Great!!!

Mediocre hostel, it will definitely do. The staff isn't overly nice or helpful, but they aren't rude either. It's a place to sleep at night, and they have a kitchen, though it's probably cheaper to eat out (6 soles for a menu). The shower water is warm and has some intense pressure. Would I go back..? No. But it definitely is OK.

Wow this hostel was the best I've stayed at in a while! The staff, first off, is always there to help and really fun to just hang out with and talk to. Marc answered all of my 1000 questions and the rest of the staff was just as friendly. The hostel is very clean and great to meet other people, and the hostel's activities nights like free dinners makes you meet a bunch of people as well as serving good food. I definitely recommend this hostel to everyone going to Dresden!

Generator Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany

The location is good if you want to be by the central station, otherwise it is at a fair distance from the main attractions. However, Hamburg is very easy to get around in so it didn't cause much problems for me. The staff is friendly but not overly so. The three nights I was there, the bar area was basically empty so I was glad to have met some people in my room to hang out with. The roll + coffee deal in the morning is very nice and well-priced.

This hostel was very nice! There is a nice bar/restaurant downstairs and the chill-out room is a bit small, but allows you to make friends easily! Also, the free breakfast includes bread, ham, cheese, yogurt, fruits, coffee/tea/hot cocoa, cereals, therefore: LOVED IT. The location is great, but you do have to go up and down a lengthy flight of stairs to get to and from the hostel to the new and old cities. The staff is super nice though and will answer any and all questions you have!

Although everyone seems to focus on the free waffle breakfast (which is EXCELLENT by the way), the hostel can be accredited for much more than that. It is one of the prettiest hostels I have ever seen as the walls are painted in beautiful drawings and with vibrant colors! It has a large and nice terrace in the back and a cool bar downstairs. I would most definitely come back to this hostel! The location was not a problem for us at all.

Great hostel near Las Ramblas! The employees are super chill and funny, but dont expect much from the free breakfast. The rooms are really nice but there are only two showers per floor. The hostel wasn't full when I went, however, so it wasn't a problem for me. I do recommend this place as it is very chill and there is a nice common room to meet and hang out with people.

Yes! Lisbon Hostel is awesomee! The place is very well located and is so chill! The guys at the reception are the nicest, they all seemed to love their job and will come hang out with us in the common room at night. The walking tour I went on did not impress me much but it definitely doesnt take away from this hostel. The dinners are always delicious!!

This hostel was very nice, but I wouldnt rave about it. It does the trick and its really well situated but the bathrooms were often dirty and they smelled really bad! The common area wasnt really the best to meet people, so if you want to, take a room with numerous beds if you dont mind it. The staff was helpful but you have to go to them if you had questions or to talk to them.

When I was walking to the hostel for the first time I was a bit worried because it seems to be in a really sketchy place but once you pass the doors, its gorgeous! Super clean and the staff is really nice! The kitchen/lounge was great to meet people and the interior courtyard is really awesome! The rooms were so comfortable and the showers were clean and actually had hot water! Great place to stay even if it is a little further from city center (still a really easy walk).

The staff was really helpful and friendly and the place was very well kept. I would definitly return to this hostel if I return to Valencia. I also recommend it to anyone going to Valencia as it is in a very great spot and close to all noteworthy spots; you can even walk to the City of Arts and Sciences from the hostel. They also had a great security guard.
