Nice hostel. Bit out of the city center, but you can easily hitchhike or take a bus into town. Owner of the hostel is very friendly. The 8 bed-room felt quite crammed, other rooms looked more spacious.

La Casona de Odile

El Bolson, Argentina

If you´re up for relaxing in hammocks, tasty homemade meals, a huge garden with even a river, ´beach´ and lavenderfields, a fire place, yoga, good breakfast and great company, this is your place :-) The kayak trip they recommend is also absolutely great! You can easily take a bus or taxi into town (marketdays are very nice). The scenery around El Bolson is stunning too! I booked initially for 4 nights and stayed for 9. And that happens to more people there, so be aware... Highly recommended!

Nice located, bit out of the center, but brilliant view on the bay from out of my bedroom. We were staying in one of the brand new rooms and they were really (too) hot though (but of course summer period as well). Most other rooms I think have aircon though. Big kitchen and place to hold asados.

I would prefer a bit smaller hostel, but it´s a nice artistic place to stay at if you want to explore San Telmo. Beds are comfy. They have an amazing roofterrace with hammocks and a bar.

Eco Pampa Hostel

Buenos Aires, Argentina

I really enjoyed my stay at eco pampa hostel. Very relaxed atmosphere, great vintage interior and lovely helpful staff who speak both spanish and English. Met some fantastic people there to hang around with and ended up staying for 10 days instead of my orginally planned 5 days. Would definitely recommend the place. Already arranged my next stay. The hostel is based in a great safe neighbourhood with lots of restaurants, cafes and little shops. The subte on Plaza Italia is also closeby.

So nice to have a hostel again instead of all the hotels! Great place to meet people. The dorms I've stayed in were clean. Loved their bbq and breadrolls in the morning as well! The tours they offer are indeed a bit higher than elswhere in the streets, but they are lot of fun, so i would prefer them next time again! The open-busticket I would not get a next time, they are more expensive and plans always change... for example > take a motorbike down the road for some time :-)

Stayed here twice. Nice hostel. Not all the beds are that good, but the rooms and bathrooms are really clean, staff is really friendly and the common room is nicely furnished, also lots of dvd's and information/folders about Borneo and the open areas on both sides of the room create a nice atmosphere.

There were enough showers, but way less toilets and the toilets that are in the hostel are mostly in a showerroom. Would be nice if there were more and seperate. Location, staff and internetroom were fine!
