We arrived in Australia to this hostel and we was not very impressed. Rooms were dirty and smelly and all the bunkbeds were squashed in leaving very little room and storage. You basically felt like you was sleeping far to close to everyone else. The mattresses where thin and uncomfortable. The only good thing about this hostel were the bathrooms were surprisingly clean. Wouldnt stay here again

A great hostel in a great location in Saigon. All attractions are walkable and the hotel is a seconds walk from bars and restaurants. A comfortable clean hostel run by a lovely family. We really enjoyed our time here.

A nice hotel which was really comfortable and clean and great value for money. The people that run this place were very friendly and helpful. Around a 30 min walk to the lake but taxis were not too expensive either. Would recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at Hanoi Lucky Guest house. The location is brilliant, situated in the old quarter and only a short walk to the lake. We stopped for two nights and we was very pleased with the hostal and its facilities. Also the staff, Jack and Step were very helpfull and friendly and helped organise an open bus ticket. We organised the Halong Bay 3day/2night Cristina cruise which was excellent value for money and we had a great time. The service was brilliant. Highly recomend.

A lovely hostel set on a beautiful beach. The main road with shops and bars is about 15 mins walk away however there are restaurants close by and also on the beach. This was a great place to stop for a couple of days. The hostel also serves nice food and has a great atmosphere and pool.

A great hostel to stay in with a lovely swimming pool and a great atmosphere. A little bit away from the centre however taxis are cheap enough and there is a great shopping centre and supermarket a couple of minutes walk away. Would recommend and stop here again.

We got placed in the hottest and smallest room ever and felt like a fan oven the whole night. Bathrooms needed cleaning more thoroughly. Masses and clumps of hair in shower and wasn't removed. Yuck. We left one day early to find a cleaner hostel with air con!

Nice hostel with close proximity to airport. Not best location other than that although near a great supermarket and a couple of local markets which you can buy food to cook in the hostel. Great DVD collection and chill out space. Becareful of the showers, they look old and if you touch the top you can get a electric shock.

Only go to this hostel if all you want to do is party, otherwise miss it completly as you will not sleep. This hostel plays loud music from Dawn till Dusk and Dawn again, No letting up and gets too much after a while. Also there are no locks on any dorm doors and as the hostel let's in anyone in off the street to drink at the bar, your possessions are left vulnerable. Drugs are visible and people can smoke anywhere. Wasn't impressed really at all. Only good thing is location.

Pleasant stay here and really loved the courtyard which you could relax in during the day in the hammocks. Only critisms is the bar area. Could do with better seating area as all chairs are falling apart bigtime and be cleaner. Also breakfast was messy and I saw staff literally eating straight off the bar even though there was a stack of plates in front of him. Could be better organised

Nice hostel and the owned was really friendly. 20 minute walk to centre but the hostel is around the corner from restaurants and a great Market where you can buy pretty much anything, food wise. Could do with a fan in the private double as it gets too hot and you do not want to open the window as it faces the courtyard which gets noisy from people gathering outside.

Not bad for the money as this hotel has a good location with a ten minute walk to the centre. Be prepared, the rooms have no windows and no internal doors to the bathrooms. However as a 'base' it was ok. Staff although don't speak English, where very helpful and tried there best with us and our rubbish Spanish!

Generally a good all round hostel. The only issues to stop me giving excellent reviews where 1) it was abit noisy, we was in the downstairs twin room and there was slot of noise from people moving around upstairs, going up and down the stairs, the front door, voices from the kitchen; Often waking us up quite early. Also as it was a proper family home you often felt like you was in the way. It would also have been nice to have had easier access to some glasses and plates etc. Felt abit intrusive

Really nice hostel which is comfortable and clean with great location and facilities. Enjoyed it so much, we booked in before and after trekking. Only one thought is that some of the staff don't seem to be too helpful and asking some questions to them was like she couldn't really be bothered looking into it, even though it was advertised on their sign that they can help you with it!

Not the worst hostel I've ever stayed in and ok if your stuck but get the downstairs double ensuite room as it looks like the best room in the house. Improvements can defo be made but I do think the couple who run this place might slowly be trying in their own way. Showed us some new floor tiles and there are power showers which was surprising. Tvs in rooms also which makes a change, especially after your knackered from trekking and cant move out of bed! Strangely full of character this hostel!

Hostel let us down! Sounded very promising for a cheap but comfortable accommodation- cheap yes, but hostel itself is Very dirty and uncomfortable. Found it very hard to relax here and was quite noisy at night with music going on till early hours some nights. Staff where nice enough but vast improvements could be made before I would consider venturing back to this place. Shame as it's got great potential with a great location. I won't be back however. Don't expect much from this place.
