The Hideout Hostel @ Saigon

Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

The location is really excellent (right in the back-packers quarter of Saigon), the cons are surely the beds which are too small (I felt very uncomfortable and left after 1 night, if you're taller than 1.85 you won't sleep well), there are no individual lights in the rooms, and one only restroom is maybe not enough for a 10 ppl dorm.

This place is brand new, the rooms are big and comfortable and extremely clean, this is definitely more than "just" a hostel ! The pool is the real deal, the bar/restaurant is really nice even though it doesn't offer a big variety of food, but that's not a problem actually, you can just walk outside the hostel and find hundreds of places to eat. Breakfast is not included, though it's really cheap, I recommend it. Sandra, the manager, is the number one, with her smile and energy.

This place is totally recommended !!!! Linh, the girl at the reception, the manager, will always help you, she's extremely kind and smiley. The hostel is actually brand new, the beds are big and comfortable, also the restrooms are really big and clean (as the whole hostel is, you can literally eat on the floor) - it was a real pleasure to stay in this hostel and Da Lat is surely worth the visit.

excellent place, absolutely recommended ! 3 minutes walk from the beach, right in the quarter of pubs/restaurants etc - the staff speak very well english, they're very helpful. The hostel is really well organized, breakfast is included, they will welcome you with water and wet tissues, which is something you can really appreciate after 14 hours on a bus ! Very well organized and managed hostel, the only fault i've found was that my room didn't have a window, but you will survive as I did ;)

Great place to stay, the bar/restaurant downstairs is really cool, very good if you want to socialize and/or have fun. The beds are comfortable, the restrooms are maybe a bit small but you can deal with that.

Boho Hostel

Absolutely recommended. The hostel is very clean and quiet. With a few minutes walk you can reach the promenade on the sea, and from there with a bus you can reach any place on the island. Paceville, if you want to party, is just a few minutes walk away, while Sliema is even closer, if you're looking for a calm place to have a drink or eat. Penny, the owner of the hostel, is very kind and helpful. An advice for tall guys: I'm 6ft6 tall and the bed I slept in was ok ;)
