Great hostel, friendly helpful english speaking staff, I stayed in a room for 2 and it was even better than some hotels I've stayed at. As a bonus they also got a nice roof top terrace with great view.

Stayed there for only one night but I wish I could have stayed longer. Really friendly staff and the rooms are fine. Great possibilities to meet new people with the different activities and the bar/restaurant that is just next to the hostel. Met a bunch of people there and had a really fun pub crawl. Shoutout to Anja and our late night didgeridoo-session.
Arrived late night, was a lot of people hanging out in the bar and outside and it seemed like a swell time. The staff were really nice and talkative. The rooms were good with comfortable beds, plugs close enough to your bed to charge your phone and lockable cage thingies under the bed. Met some nice people and stayed one more night than planned and could definitely stay there again!
The location is a little bit off, but close to some sightseeing so it's ok. The rooms were really hot, no air condition, just one loud fan on the floor. The shower was really nasty with hair and such and the toilets were incredibly small, expected more for the price. The staff was nice though and the social part of the hostel was alright.

Good staff, location and such. Great rooms to hang out as well. Although, of all 15 hostels I stayed at this trip through Europe, Castle Rock probably had the most uncomfortable beds, tiny, hard and no proper blanket, just some blanket stuck in the sheet so you have to sleep like in a sleeping bad even though it's freaking hot. No plugs close to the bed either so you can only charge your phone in the common rooms.
