Most hostels have complementary lockers to lock up your backpacks. I was disappointed that you had to pay for a locker at Swiss Cottage. Even during cold days the rooms were very hot due to the number of people staying in them and the windows only opened a little. Location was great easy to find, easy Tube access. Staff were not very friendly or helpful with giving advice of local pubs, attractions, etc.

Hello We think you'll find that every bed has a locker underneath it, even the private twins and doubles. In addition to our free lockers we also have laptop safes in reception, back pack storage in the basement and our luggage room also has steel cable locks you can attach your bag to. As for the windows I'm afraid Camden council won't let us open the windows fully as they worry people might throw stuff out. But we have put AC in several of the rooms.

Family Stanos, Dubrovnik, Croatia
10.0
18th May 2013

Family Stanos was the best hostel we stayed at in all of Croatia. It was a beautiful house and we had a gorgeous view overlooking old town and the ocean from our room. Location was excellent! The room was quiet, clean and the bathroom was modern and good shower. Our host Baldo (the owner) was friendly and helpful telling us good sights to see and local attractions. Baldo was hospitable and invited us to drink wine from his vineyard with him and even prepared seafood risotto for all his guests.

Beautiful small hostel overlooking the ocean and the town of Komiza. The room was clean and the bathroom was quite new with a good shower. The hostel was at the end of the main street; it was quiet yet very close to everything. The woman who checked us in spoke only a few words of English, yet this did not matter as she had everything including cost and our booking prepared in English so it was easy to communicate with her without a lot of verbal communication. Would definitely stay here again.

Hostell Nikolla, Split, Croatia
10.0
14th May 2013

Hostell Nikolla was so beautiful to stay at. Great location, just outside the Palace so it was nice and quiet, yet only a 2 minute walk to the palace / town centre. The rooms had a great view, towards the harbour. The rooms were clean, and Nikolla was so friendly. She made special arrangements to receive a package for us that we needed to receive in an emergency situation. She real went above and beyond for us.
