The hostel was renovatedy and clean (except of little smell of cigarettes in the room). It was on very good place, but that is everything. The staff doesn´t speak english - She knows only a few words and every sentence starts with: You haven´t....:) The house wasn´t mark with any sign and we didn´t get any confirmation of our payment. The kitchen was broken and there was soo tiny wall, that we could heard everything.
hostel was clean, the clean lady comes every day to clean our room... but nobody speaks english there and the receptionist (man) was really weird... there is no common room and no kitchen, but the rooms have their own bathroom and the location by the train station S. Bento is also good (we needed to get to the airport at 4 am and the night bus goes only a few blocks from the hostel...
we should stay in hostel Da Gale, but after their mistake, the offer us to stay in Apartmens Regina for the same money :) there was everythink clean, great swimming pool, breakfast included (bread, marmelade, butter, juice, coffee, orange), only a few metres from the sea and only one stree from the main shopping street. (the only minus was, that the reception was in April open only from 12 - 20:00 (but they waited for us till 21:30...) and the waitres by the breakfast doesnt speak english
The staff in Bujdet hostel was one probably indian guy, who doesnt speak english and sleeps on the couch in the reception. He also cleans the toillets and bathrooms (sometimes he forget to put there toillet paper or repair the broken toillet). But I have to say, that after a few minutes of weird conversation, everything was possible! The location was good, but the hostel was in the house without any sign or bell with the windows to the loud street or with the view to the wall...(but it is cheap)
When we came, we were a little bit disapointed, because we booked 7beds room, but we got 8beds room. The room was clean, but with the window to the main street - quite noisy. The bathrooms was good and clean also with towels and soap, but the toilets were very very small (we had to go to the toillets next to the reception - there were OK). The breakfest was owesome! A lot of various food, drinks, international and also local specialities and great place on the sunny balcony, where you can eat :)
