Wada Hostel in Guilin

Wada hostel is great. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good breakfast. The bedroom for 3 people was cozy an nice, excellent price-quality relationship. The only bad point is that we hired some excursions through the hostel that had been a little bit dissapointing (They told us that we will be a group of 9-11 to the rice terraces and we were a full bus with 30 people, they told us that it wasnt possible to do the cruise before 12:00 and of course it was possible...)

Thank you for your review! We appreciate your support and for recognizing our value in what we have to offer! The tours that we have are the best in the city as we're aligned with the most reputable certified tour agency. What happened was rare and as a safety precaution for our guests, the agency decided the best action would be to merge the group to avoid uninterrupted service. We do apologize for this inconvenience and we will always try our very best to make things right. =) Team Wada

I just spent one night on this hostel. All the hostels in HK are really expensive, so I guess this is not so bad in prize-quality relationship. I was in a private room, the bathroom is okay but the room is really small. Unfriendly staff and really hard maitress.

The guesthouse is pretty decent. Clean, good rooms, good atmosphere, cheap beer downstairs and the breakfast althoug a little bit expensive is not bad. The staff is not really helpful, we ask them for 3 or 4 things and they were not willing to help. Bad Wifi. +1 for the laundry service -1 for only having one computer.

Thank you for the good things you pointed out about our Guesthouse. I am unsure which breakfast item you refer to but our breakfast start from $2.00 with a free drink included and our most expensive item is a FULL English breakfast at $4.75 with a free drink included, which most people struggle to finish. Our Wi-Fi set up is 4 routers over 3 floors and covers every room. On the rare occasion we have a fault its solved within a few minutes by a reset, but we have to be made aware of the problem as it impossible for us to monitor it 24hrs a day. Most guest comment that our Wi-Fi is the fastest they had in Cambodia, our speed is 3,5 MB. When you asked your question in the morning we gave you prices and we could have arranged most of your request, we give good and fair prices as you also understood. But when your back 9.30 pm in the high season is too late to arrange early morning activities. Locals goes to bed early and I cannot start doing endless calls to find someone available at this time.. We help all our guests to the best of our ability and if we don’t know the answer we will try to find out for them. I have 30 year experience traveling in South East Asia and can answer a lot of questions. Most guest’s today have their own computers & phones and it is rarely that anyone have to wait for the one free computer we have.

Little Hanoi Diamond

In my opinion the Little Hano Diamond is the perfect hostel. Breakfast included, it is not crazy good but it is enough. Really friendly staff, Mr. Tang is the best! The provide us free taxi in order to go to the airport which was really useful. We spent there 3 nights and everything was nice, follow their advice in order to go to restaurants and try the Cha Ca close to the hotel!
