The hostel is in a great location, overlooking Ocean drive. The hostel rooms aren't the greatest as they seem to actually be 12 bed dorms with a shared bathroom. However the hostel itself is great, with a good lounge, friendly staff and a great rooftop bar overlooking ocean drive. There is also a Jacuzzi on the rooftop and a BBQ on everynight.

Definitely a place to go to for a party! Every night there was something going on, and the staff do try and get everyone involved. The hostel also offers free meals everyday, though not the greatest to be honest. There is also a TV room with a connection to Netflix for a large collection of movies. No real bar, but the hostel does have a fridge with beers in. Rooms were nice with en-suite facilities. Location was approx 2 blocks from the beach.

The hostel is in a great location in Miraflores, near lots of bars and restaurants. It's also fairly near the beach and not far from the metro station to head to downtown. The bar and staff are really good, with lots of deals and the food served there is pretty nice and reasonable.

The hostel was pretty nice, with a nice courtyard and a big bar to meet people. The hostel also offers some good tours. The only downside is that the hostel is on a hill and quite far (compared to other hostels in Cusco) from the centre of Cusco, such as the Plaza de Armas, and other central parts.

The hostel is in a brilliant location, near to the main square and all the local tour operators for Colca Canyon. The staff are also very friendly, with good local knowledge. The bar is pretty good, and the location is also close to all local bars and restaurants. There's also a courtyard to enjoy during the day and a TV room with a good selection of films to watch.

Definitely the place to party in La Paz - the hostel is pretty near the centre of town, and has a great bar which keeps going every night. The bar also serves good food and shows pretty much all sport. There{s also a travel agency to help arrange tours, such as death road, etc. Recommended

This a great hostel, with a great atmosphere and a brilliant place to meet people. It{s right in the centre of town, making it very handy to visit tour agencies for the salt plains, as well as restaurants and bars, etc. The staff are brilliant as well '- very good at involving everyone. Only downside is that it{s pretty expensive when compared to the rest of Chile, but San Pedro is in general anyway!

A great hostel . First night, we got a free pisco sour, and the whole hostel was very social. The staff were brilliant and very friendly with lots of local information. The hostel is also in a great location for bars and restaurants in the night and not far from the centre for during the day. Recommended

La Chimba Hostel

Santiago, Chile

I stayed in the hostel for few nights, and generally had a good opinion. The staff are very nice and very helpful, and helped arrange or inform about local tours.. They also had a TV with full satellite which is good for sports, etc. Breakfast was ok. Main issue was that the dorm I stayed in (The crashpad) was also access to the room above so had double the traffic through (especially at night). Also, the shower head broke from the en sutie and never seemed to have been fixed.

I only stayed for one night, but the hostel was very nice. The staff were brilliant and were able to arrange a place for me on a wine bike tour at very short notice. They also have a happy hour with free wine, which was great and breakfast was brilliant with pancakes. Recommended.

I stayed at the hostel for a few nights - very good location in the centre of BA, with a metro line nearby. Staff are very friendly and the roof terrace is really nice. The small lounge area is a good place to meet people as well, and is a bit more relaxed than Milhouse for those wanting a bit more of a quiet time in the centre,

I stayed in Milhouse a number of times and have a very good opinion of it. The hostel is in a good location and the staff are very good with excellent knowledge of activities (for both night and day). There is also a travel agency to help arrange trips to Uruguay. Also, the bar and the atmosphere at the hostel is very good, shows live sports and arrange nights out every night - very good for meeting new people.

Hostel Suites Obelisco

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Hostel suites Obelisco was my first hostel in BA. The location was great, as were the staff. Only issues were that the wifi was only available in the lobby area and that it was really slow (almost unusable). Also, there didn{t appear to be a lot of interaction with the other guests and not a great atmosphere to meet other people.

The hostel is in a good location, opposite the bus station and near the main road for restaurants, supermarkets and the bank. It also had a pool and a good bar. Only minor issue is that there seem to be lots of mosquitos (but a general issue in Igassu!)

The Kaissara is an excellent hostel; I had the best time! The hostel is not far from the beach, George is an excellent host and Trindade is an amazing place to stay with so many beaches and waterfalls to see (wish I had not booked my ticket to Sao Paulo ahead of time as I would have stayed longer). Hostel Galeria 13

The hostel is one of the best ones I've been to in Brazil! Amazing atmosphere and so sociable due to the extended breakfast hours (8-12) and happy hour. The swimming pool is also a great feature. I was in Salvador per-Carnaval and had an amazing time! Only issue is that there is no kitchen for guests but there are so many places to eat in the area, this isn't really an issue.

Fridays Hostel

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
57%

I arrived for one night as I had a connecting flight the next day to Manaus, so wanted to stay somewhere near the airport. I choose Friday{s hostel for this reason. The hostel is ok, nothing to make me want to return. One member of staff spoke English, though she was not available when I checked in. The room itself was quite basic. Finally I booked an airport transfer to take me to the airport the next day, but it never appeared so I had to take a taxi instead. Minor issues, but all count.
