Loved the place and the area, had a wonderful stay. I usually stay in hostels so felt the lack of community space to be a bit of a negative. I hung out and read on the top floor area some during my stay but never saw anyone else up there so it was a little weird.
Hakuna Shida is a paradise. A great place for relaxing (right next to the beach and has a great public area and a fantastic cook so you don't ever really have to stray far) and great for Paje fun (Jorge is awesome at helping coordinate activities in the area). I wound up spending most of my three days there blissfully relaxing.
I wasn't expecting a lot from a hostel that is largely marketed as being an airport stopover but was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was great and the pool area was actually pretty fantastic. I was there to spend my final night of my three month trip and it was a good way to spend that time. There was plenty space to store my bike and get all of my gear cleaned and repacked for my flight out.
