Been here three times now, still one of my favorite hostels but a lot of the staff (apart from a few) don't really seem interested as the previous staff members and one of them walks around with an annoying arrogant smile all the time for some reason
Very good hostel, stayed here and at the Beer Hostel and liked that one a lot more but this hostel is still one of the best in Europe!
Not the best hostel ever but it was fine for two nights while I was waiting to move in somewhere else. You would never come here when travelling to London but if you just need a place to stay then it isn't bad. Staff are awful but I only spoke to them twice (check in and check out) so it didn't bother me. It's a bit of a shame because with a few minor changes this place wouldn't be half bad. You also have to pay for the Wi-Fi hourly (what kind of hostel doesn't offer free WI-FI?!).
Not a bad hostel but with some minor changes it could be so much better. The kitchen could be upgraded a bit and some power sockets next to each bed would make this place a lot better! Showers are average as well.
I came here not really expecting too much for some reason and was pleasantly surprised about how nice the hostel was! The rooms were well spacious and the beds comfortable with plenty of bathrooms available in the building. The common area was huge and seemed like it would be a good place to meet people (I only went in there for a small period of time when it was still quiet). There really isn't anything I can fault this place with, it isn't excellent but it does the basics right!
Pretty expensive but everywhere in Edinburgh is and at least with this hostel you know you are getting a good place! The WI-FI is rather annoying (the code changes every morning) but everything else is fine! Lots of bathrooms and showers, a cool cafe/bar upstairs with cheap food and drinks and nightly pub crawls and daily free walking tours! The beds all have a little light, shelf, locker and power socket next to them which is well handy.
The hostel is very good, I can't really find any faults with it except it is too expensive. If you are willing to spend the cash then you'll be in for an enjoyable stay. The staff are well friendly, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and huge with good showers and the WI-FI works fantastic! The location is excellent, it is literally 30 seconds from the train station and 5 minute walk from the bus station.
Can't really say anything about this hostel except it was hard to meet others because it was so big. Decent enough place though.
Nothing bad to say about this place! Much prefer smaller hostel like this one where you can make friends with everyone in the living room and have drinks on the balcony in a chilled out environment before heading out. Good location, nice WI-FI, friendly staff - everything is excellent
Excellent WI-FI, some of the best staff I've ever met at a hostel, comfortable beds, great atmosphere! Easily some of the best days I've had around Europe, I was well depressed when I left!
One of the best hostels I've stayed at, mainly due to how cool the staff are! Lockers, good showers, good location, excellent wi fi, nice common area!!
One of the best hostels I've stayed at! Spent most of the time just chillin' at the pool and meeting new people then heading out and partying at night! Francesco is an awesome owner as well and the staff are all friendly! Especially the well beautiful one who works behind the counter sometimes. I would def. stay here over anywhere else in Ios
When I arrived the hostel was quiet and there was only 8 guests staying in the entire hostel. We all stayed in the same room though and had a good group of people and it ended up being the best 4 nights ever! We made our own pizza every night and then headed to the various parties down at Golden Suns! The staff are the best and are always up for a good time as well! Only negative I can think of is that there is no lockers/locks for any of the rooms which could be risky when the hostel is full

Spent a good week at the Grandio! The drinks are cheap and there is something to do every night of the week and I'm sure it is only going to get better when summer comes! The staff are easily some of the best staff that I've ever met at a hostel. Big shout out to Danny and Kitchy! I would definitely come back and blindly recommend it over any other hostel in Budapest (especially Retox) Somebody stole my friends iPhone cable though, who steals an iPhone cable?!
There's a lot of school camps around which is a bit annoying but overall it was a good 5 nights!
Security is very good at the hostel as they have little safes at each bed (in the 4 bed form at least). Location is perfect for partying! It is right on the beach so don't expect to sleep till 4am every night but that is the whole point of Phi Phi island! I've put the atmosphere as "poor" but only for a hostel! Since there is no common area and only the beach bar it is difficult to tell who is travelling and who is with a group of friends so it is a bit hard to just go talk to people!
Basic hostel security (large lockers in each room) Good location, only a 5 minute walk from the clubs and bars! The staff were really friendly and joined in some drinking games one night! The atmosphere was good! There is a bar downstairs but a small bar that you know only guests would be at so easy to meet people! The shower smelt a bit and was very weak but that was the only bad thing! I wouldn't say its the best hostel ever like some people but it is good!
The best hostel ever, Staff are always down to party.

You can't drink at the hostel so that pretty much overrides any positive the hostel has.
I have to say this is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at - was only planning to stay a few days but ended up staying a week and was sad to leave! Met a lot of cool people here and the staff organise some really fun nights out at the local bars or clubs but if you just want to chill in the common room and play beer pong/drinking games that is just as good.
