Positives for this hostel are the location, comfy beds, modern design, and great facilities. Downsides are the poor luggage storage (the locks don't actually work), and the attitudes of some of the staff.
This is, hands down, the best hostel I've ever stayed in! The location can't be beat and the beds are comfy. But, what really makes this hostel fantastic is the staff. Jurgen, Gui, Joao - you're all rockstars! The social events they organize each night are super fun and a great way to get to know other guests. The only thing I can think of as a negative is that they don't have an elevator, so hauling luggage up/down the stairs can be a bit of a pain, but this is a minor complaint!
Awesome hostel! I loved the modern, laid back vibe. The rooms are spacious and bright, with huge luggage storage. The beds are the comfiest I've ever slept on in a hostel! Make sure you take one of the Portuguese lessons! They're a great way to learn some useful phrases, and to meet other guests in the hostel. Location is great, though there's a bit of a hill to climb from the train station which can be tough with heavy luggage. I would definitely return to this hostel if I revisit Porto
I stayed here 6 years ago, and recently decided to re-visit. It's an alright hostel. The location is convenient, and the building is lovely. The rooms were a bit cramped, as the under bed storage lockers aren't large enough to fit most suitcases. The beds are comfy, and the privacy curtains are a big bonus. Most of the other guests seemed to be part of large school groups, so it wasn't super conducive to a friendly atmosphere, particularly for a solo traveler
