Shower was leaking a bit and mould on bathroom roof but other than that it was spotless. Staff were really great and helpful and even gave us a free upgrade to the junior suite. Also went out of their way to organize a transfer to the port. Free breakfast was also good.
Had a great stay in hostel Alessandro. I will say that the facilities in the 8 bed dorm the first night were much better than the 4 bed dorm we changed to the last 2 nights (i.e. individual lights and bathroom facilities were cleaner etc). Would stay there again. FYI- don't eat at the small restaurant across the street (not the one on the corner but next door to it). It was horrible!!
We booked a room for one night to be closer to our busabout pickup point. It was 34 degree day and the rooms had no air conditioning so we had to leave the window open. The street noise was so loud neither of us got any sleep! People yelling, revving cars, construction work til late that started again at 5am. Was not worth the money at all! There were also black hairs all over the bed...
The room was over a 5min walk to the underground metro and a 15-20 min train ride to central Munich. We also discovered around 730-8am that the bottom room is right under a childcare. So we were woken up by children running and screaming right over our heads. Owner only gave 1 key and there was 1 in the back of the door (we thought for deadlocking so left it). After checking out the owner called accusing us of not returning the second key and that he couldn't unlock the room. He was really rude!

We had such an awesome stay at Le village. Was close to amazing cafes and the metro was a 2min walk. Staff were extremely helpful. Terrace is great for sunny days and having a few drinks with people and we did meet some great people from all over the world staying there. Yes the bunk beds in the dorms are noisy and the bathrooms weren't super clean but it's a hostel so you get what you pay for. Would recommend Le village to everyone!!!
