The place was really nice and trendy, it had lots of atmosphere of a cool hotel with facilities like a pool and a good restaurant/bar, the actual rooms were pretty basic, but they are still more than you would get at a usual hostel with a TV and to separate beds instead of a bunk, the only thing I that of coarse the price, it was allot more than the other hostels we stayed in Berlin and I enjoyed the other place just as much, so I just depended if you’re willing to pay more for a pool and Tv
It was an okay place to stay, had the basics and was clean, This only big issue we had was that it wasn’t at the address hostel world gives, when we got there and without any explanation the owner told us we had to go to another address, which wasn’t to far away but we felt a little uncomfortable there as it was down an alley across from a derelict house with broken windows
Nice place with good character and with clean and spacious rooms, will look great when the renovations are finished. The stairs are very very steep and narrow which is understandable since it’s in an old building but the railing is unstable and held together by duct tape which always made me feel unsafe.(hopefully this will get fixed in the renovations) Plus there were only two showers and one toilet per level which meant there was always a queue, but overall a really nice place to stay :)
The place was clean, my room was nice, location was a bit annoying but overall it was a good hostel. Only problem I had is they must offer it to school groups, stayed 4 nights and on 3 my floor was full of obnoxious young teenagers running around , shouting, laughing all night and in the morning I was woken at 7 by teachers shouting at them to hurry up. I know you can’t book a hostel on who might stay there but I if it happens a lot here, even if it was nice otherwise, I probably won’t go back.
