Was full of smelly school kids. Good breakfast.
Bit of a large dorm to stay in. But was cleaned everyday. Great location.
My iPod got stolen but I think that is more my fault for being careless although anyone can walk in and out the rooms. Attracts a crowd that are too cool to talk. But in a great location and in a nice building. Facilities are basic
One of the best hostels ever. Great dorm rooms. Great location. Bit of an angry woman on reception though who looked like she was about to have a breakdown at any moment. Who decided to close reception and not let us buy water even.though it is meant to be 24hr
Bit like staying in university halls. The club downstairs is a bit of a dive. Didn't get wifi on second floor. Very clean
We enjoyed our stay at the black sheep. However, we arrived at 6 in the morning (having had made a reservation for this time) to be greeted by a rasta receptionist who was unwelcoming and told us there were no beds for us and to come back at 3pm!!!! And no we weren't allowed to sleep on the sofas. We came back at 11am and were welcomed by different members of staff with open arms and available beds. With the exception of this one jobs worth everyone that worked there was great and very helpful.
One of the male staff woke us up and was grumpy. They charged us extra to store luggage after check out time and made us feel unwelcome. There was a lingering body odour in our dorm that didn't seem to belong to any guests. However Living room and garden area was nice and they had beds for us when we arrived at 6am which was good.
Great stay. From the offset hunky Damien welcomed us with open arms and an endearing smile. They were very helpful, gave us a map with actually good highlights of the city. Clean room and great toilet facilities. Good wifi connections and Fab common room and chillout zone. The highlight of our trip. Great value for money! Thank you
Friendly staff. Great location near old town and mosques
