Lub d Bangkok Siam Square

They overbooked so we got upgraded to a private double instead of a dorm :) its right by the bts skytrain for easy access to the airport and most sights. Super clean and bathrooms have lots of showers which is key in a big busy hostel. I wasn't here long enough to really see all it had to offer but i'd definitely come back here next time i'm ever in Bangkok :)

Taco Shack Hostel

First of all- the hostel owner Kai was amazing! He makes everyone feel at home and is great for recommendations of places to go to. He goes out of his way to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves. The Taco shack is a restaurant downstairs (amazing food BTW) with 2 dorms upstairs. The dorm has a/c and there's loads of space to dump your bags. Super close to the pier and 15min walk to Sairee beach. We found it really easy to meet people here. I'd definitely come back here again! thanks Kai! :)

NapPark Hostel at Khao San

Bangkok, Thailand

This was my second stay at Nappark and as always it was great! Very clean facilities quite close to khao san road and temples and just a tuk tuk ride away from the nearest skytrain etc. My only problem with this stay was our beds hadn't had the sheets changed and made for us and at 6pm they still hadn't been changed. I'm aware some work was being done in that room so this may have affected thhings maybe. The staff could be a little friendlier.

Excellent hostel! Has a great lobby area for chilling out and meeting other people. The bathrooms were always clean and the staff were great at answering any queries or recommending places to see or trips to try. It's far enough away from khao san road to be quiet at night but close enough to walk there in a few minutes. The bedrooms are very secure as everyone gets a bracelet which only opens their dorm room. I would highly recommend this place and would come back here if I was in Bangkok again

Excellent location in soho- close to main shopping oxford/regent street as well as walking distance to tourist sites such as buckingham palace etc. very clean hostel with friendly staff and decent bedrooms with personal reading light n charger per bed. It is not a party hostel though so i would go elsewhere if you were looking to meet lots of people and party (although if u want a good nights sleep then this is a good place!)

Fantastic!! Free wifi, clean facilities, will book excursions for you eg scuba diving and you can get some discount. On sundays they have a free bbq which is great and at 10.30 every night a guy takes everyone down town to a bar for the night. Staff are so friendly and even pick you up and leave you back to ferry. The only downside is the steep hill to walk up on way back from town to hostel but it's really not that bad. Also has a wee supermarket nearby as well.

Booked a twin room which is actually in a separate building. felt more like a hotel - left to your own devices as opposed to a hostel. Room was clean and had a share kitchen and bathroom. Bathroom door didnt close or lock very well and the door was frosted glass but was basically see through - i wasn't happy using it. Did have good wifi and a tv/computer you could use which was good. Did the job for the one night we were there but could have been better.

Chillout Hostel Zagreb

The hostel has potential - unfortunately the aircon was not installed yet when we arrived but they offered 10% discount for this. good clean rooms and good clean spacious toilets and showers etc. wifi and computers downstairs. bar is great - very cheap. The only downside is there only seems to be one member staff who is trying to do 4 jobs at once - checkin/checkout/bar/queries/laundry etc. Would still return :)

Stayin on Lido as opposed to venice was MUCH cheaper and Lido is a lovely area as well with a beach and lots of cafes/restaurants so it has a good atmosphere. B&B had a decent sized bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast on the terrace in the morning was always excellent!! Only downsides were that the wifi didnt seem to work but wasnt a big issue and that there is no air con in rooms...just a fan... which isn't too bad but did affect sleep a little.

Very big hostel and a little out of the way but still easy walking distance to main sights. Room was very clean and we had our own ensuite but the shower doesnt drain very well so bathroom sometimes floods. Staff v.friendly and explained main points of what is available - pool isnt big but is very useful in hot weather. Pool area can get lively in evening. We tried the hostel restaurant and it was actually really nice! Only downside is air con has to be switched on by requesting it at reception

Its very close to Termini station and easy walking distance to all the main sights. Good wifi, large bedrooms and decent bathrooms (although they could be a little dirty first thing in the morning before they are cleaned but that is to be expected when so many people are sharing the same bathroom.) and staff are very very friendly and will happily show you nearby restaurants or bars and any tours or pub crawls you can join. Downside is no proper common room so not a v.social hostel.

Little bit out of the way from Paris's main sights but isn't far from the metro. Rooms are very clean, bathrooms were always clean no matter what time you used them (although I was on a female only floor if this makes any difference). The pub downstairs is always pretty busy and happy hour is quite good value.

Very clean hostel with good security and excellent facilities. Also organised things like pub crawls and good book trips etc for you. Its in Soho area and very close to shopping on oxford street. Is within walking distance of most major attractions. Breakfast is available for 3.95 for either a cooked breakfast or cereal with fruit juice toast and tea/coffee or there's a kitchen to make your own and Marks and spencers is literally across the road as well which is handy. Would definitely come back
