Hanoi M Hostel

Hanoi, Vietnam

Odd, but nice staff: they even helped us to clear the cockroaches out of our room. Location couldn't be better, but the market noises and propaganda tapes start at 6am, which makes it impossible to sleep. The facilities mentioned in the text are not available (e.g. the balcony is closed, no "free hanoi tour"...). The reception guy is a little annoying, because of his tours, he offers. We wouldn't recommend this hotel!

Backstreet Youth Hostel

Nice common space: possibility to sit outside, couches, dvd area... and also nice rooms with big windows, large bed and wooden furniture. Staff was nice, but can't help us in the way we needed it. Guilin is a lovely city but one day is enough to see all. We recommend the boot trip and some days in Yangshuo.

The hostel is a really nice place to stay in irkutsk, althought its not located in the center, but its easy and cheap to get there. highlights are the modern shower and especially the stuff, which helped us a lot by organizing trips to olchon and listvyanka. thanks a lot! p.s.: its also good that they have a light breakfast in the morning!
