Very clean, good facilities and location - but if you're after cosy hostel atmosphere, go somewhere else. The hostel is brand new and is very much hotel-like, e.g. very impersonal. It took me two days to get the first smile from the staff. Most of the time they would not even greet you when passing by. Common areas did not invite for hanging out, so no-one was doing that and no chances to meet anyone. That is, no atmosphere. But if you only need a place to sleep, this is great.

Lena was very nice and helpful - she really lives to her guesthouse! I cannot recommend enough this place, Lena and all of the family were very nice, and she catered for the atmostphere by setting up morning coffee/tea for the guests. The room was clean and with air conditioning, facilities in the shared kitchen were not numerous but enough to cook something simple. The location by stations is excellent.

Hostel & Guest House Bistrik

The place was a bit disappointment. Even thought the guy who picked me up was friendly, the other family members were VERY grumpy, most of them having a face "oh my god why do I have to do this, woudn't you go away". As they also live in their own floor it was not easy get hold of them, and as they were so grumpy I didn't feel welcome to do so. That said, the room was okay. If you only need a bed to sleep in and expect NOTHING else, I can recommend this. The location is quite good!
