We really liked this hostel, the bar overlooks the historic centre which is great. Excellent breakfast. Nice, helpful staff - especially Fernando! The computers were really slow and kept crashing but other than that, no complaints.

Nice Hostel. Kitchen could use more utensils and it would be nice to have a computer for guests to use. Very warm welcome from staff.

Nice enough rooms and the travel agency is useful to book buses but otherwise nothing special. We got woken up a few times by people coming in and talking loudly late at night. Breakfast was pretty poor. Would be nice to have something other than just bread and jam. One of the computers didn't work well and we often had to wait a long time for the other. The kitchen was cramped and could do with an oven! Two gas hobs for that many people is not really enough.

Staff were nice and we really liked the old building but unfortunately the stone wall in our room didn't meet the window frame properly which made the room extremely cold at night. Breakfast was really poor for the price, we felt it was a bit of a rip-off to have to pay even more money to get anything other than bread and jam. Also, it would be nice to be able to use the Kitchen and not have to ask every time we wanted to borrow a spoon or a knife! Also the Luggage storage made our bags wet.

Facilities were basic, no wifi and the door to our room got stuck. Nice staff though and excellent pizzas from the restaurant.

Amazing Hostel Arequipa

Great banana pancakes for breakfast. A staff member double booked our room so we had to move which was a shame but the staff were really professional and booked us a taxi and a room at their other hostel. We then booked a bus to Colca canyon through the other hostel which was an hour late and the lady working the night shift kindly spent ages on the phone trying to sort it out for us. Location was a bit out of the way but otherwise a good hostel.

Great new hostel. We took a punt as it had no reviews but glad we did. Good breakfast and great modern rooms. Only downside is it was lacking a few kitchen utensils and wifi upstairs but that's due to it being a new hostel. Staff were very helpful and booked us a taxi and even escorted us to it and helped with bags.

Really liked the sky bar and free beer. We got overcharged initially for both our laundry and our room and it took quite a while to get it sorted out. There was no apology for this from the staff either. Pancakes for breakfast were good but not a big fan of microwaving our coffee to make it warm and it would be nice to have the option of some fruit or juice or something a bit healthier too.

Thank you for your review. Sorry for the delays in our service, we are constantly working in training our staff. sometimes they get slow for they dont want to make mistakes, and as you said it happens. Didn't feel that secure with a public cafe close to the rooms. The bathrooms were small and the water from the shower covers the whole floor. Breakfast was nice but small, just pastries and coffee. Staff were nice though and is situated pretty much in the centre.

Disappointing. We booked 2 nights in a double private but were told on arrival we had to stay in bunk beds in another private for the first night. This wasn't a big deal as the staff apologised and we were told it would be cheaper. When it came to paying though we weren't given any discount initially and then, after asking were given a very small reduction. Breakfast was basic and unhealthy. We weren't given a good introduction on arrival, had to ask for everything. Poor value for money.

We loved this hostel. Great location, well worth the short bus or taxi ride. We arrived before dawn on the day of our booking and were kindly let in to sit by the fire and have breakfast until we could check in. Great breakfast, great staff. Nice cosy hostel.

Nice. We liked the that the luggage storage used name tags and was kept seperately while we went for an overnight to hike, it felt safer than many luggage Storage's we have used. Felt that breakfast should be included for the price and some more utensils/pots/pans in the kitchen would be nice but overall a decent hostel.

Nice place to stay. Staff didn't speak any English but were always friendly and helpful. They were happy to keep our bags for 5days while we did the w trek. Would be nice to have more facilities like full use of the kitchen and a computer etc... not a very social atmosphere but good if you want a quiet relaxing time.

Not very impressed by this hostel. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly but we were disappointed with our room. The door had holes in which caused a puddle of water to appear after rain, the chair was broken, curtains stained, ac would turn on and off a lot. Also dissapointed that the hostel didn't arrange a special event for new years eve.

Nice clean hostel. The Kitchen was a bit awkward to use as meals were cooked by staff each evening, so getting a spot in the kitchen was difficult. Staff very nice. Hostel a bit quiet for meeting people unfortunately although there is a good area for socialising with a pool table and drinks available.
