The Fort Boutique Hostel

Really nice hostel. It was more like an apartment that you were sharing with a group of friends. The 8 bed room had a huge bathroom, with a bathtub, and its own kitchen. The location was amazing, right in the middle of everything, and incredibly easy to get places from. Wi-fi signal was good, huge comfy towels provided, free laundry, and free tea, coffee, milk and juice!

Hello, great review, I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay and I hope York didn't disappoint too.

YHA Whitby

Although my stay at YHA Whitby was enjoyable there were many areas in which the experience was lacking. The bathrooms were clean, but they smelled incredibly musty. The lockers are small. Wi-fi is an extra cost, and only works in the common room. There were large numbers of children, & families staying at the hostel and nearly no actual 'youth' therefore it was not the best place to go as a single traveler.

Amazing, amazing, amazing hostel. Such a great place to stay! It really did feel more like a home than a hostel. The location was a quick 10 minutes (or less) to the city center, really cute common areas and a great kitchen, good wi-fi signal, helpful staff, good security, really clean (although the showers were a bit mildewy...they seemed like they needed to be recaulked), and a great collection of travelers, and long(er) stay guests from all over the world. You won't regret staying here. :)

Great hostel! Big rooms, with kitchens and new bathrooms. Cute common areas. Wi-fi everywhere and free. Easy to walk to the center of Bratislava, and the staff were really helpful. Despite other reviews the breakfast is worth it.

Franz Kafka Hostel

Ask for the second floor! The floor that the office is on is not really the hostel at all, and the second floor is much cleaner/nicer. That being said, the hostel doesn't have much going for it. It's very basic. But, wi-fi is good, it was cheap, and it is extremely close to the city center.

Excellent hostel! It's noisy at night though, so be prepared (I think the noise was coming from a club located beside the hostel). There are lockers, a good wi-fi signal, free breakfast and sandwiches, and cute common areas. The staff were very welcoming, and professional, and the hostel is located in a great area.

The room was extremely cold, it is a bit out of the city center, and there was hardly any wi-fi signal in the room but, the hostel did have an array of good aspects. The bathrooms were clean and cute, the bunks have privacy curtains, there are a few different common rooms, and they serve a great breakfast in the morning. Overall it was a great stay.
