El Warung Cave Hostel

Gran Canaria, Spain

Very cool Hostel away from the tourist area. Great for those looking to hike/bike for a few days at a remote location. You will take in beautiful views of the volcanic crater rock formations. Was lucky to have Roque pick us up and drive us to where we needed to go but would recommend renting a car if it's in your budget. Be prepared to bring food, as the stores nearby do not have very much.

Amsterdam Hostel Orfeo

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Good: Stayed at this hostel for 4 nights. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which was just coffee and toast with nutlella or peanut butter. The people at reception are quite helpful with directions and give a map and circle must-see sights. Bad: The showers weren't the cleanest and there was black mold on the walls

Glencoe Youth Hostel

Glencoe, Scotland

Arriving at night, the hostel was a bit difficult to find. The man at reception was nice enough to come looking for us with a spotlight. Make sure to have a plan before arriving in Glencoe, as they do not have much information on what to do in the area.
