Great for solo travelers and people wanting to make friends and socialize. Really good atmosphere with awesome activities to do. The staff is the best staff I've seen at a hostel in a while. Cons: bathrooms are kind of dingy, there's not much space, and the walls are thin so it's hard to get a lot of sleep.

Always a great stay. Not the most social hostel for solo travelers, but it's clean, has great facilities, and interesting things to do!
Everything was fantastic except for the bathrooms, which were old and kind of gross. However, the location is great and near a night market and subway station. The staff is super helpful, and the common area and beds are good. Feels more like an apartment, and the girls' dormitory is in another building far from the mixed.
This was such a great hostel in Taichung! Super social, cool atmosphere, and a spacious dorm. If you're ever in Taichung, this is a nice place to be.
It has a stunning view, and the free shuttle helps with the location. Feels a bit more like camping than I would have wanted, but as long as you don't mind that it's fine. The availability of food and the kitchen and common areas are really nice.
It was clean and in a good location. Definitely a place to go if you are solid traveling or want to meet people. However, in terms of getting any sleep it wasn't so great. The rooms were close together and echoed, and people were loud.
The reviews weren't kidding when they said the rooms are tiny. They really are! But in Hong Kong I guess it can't be helped. The staff was great, and it's a safe, clean place for cheap.
I liked the dorm room and having a toilet right there. The restaurant at the bottom was nice since there weren't many restaurants nearby
It's a fine place to stay if you just need a place to sleep that's locked. Kind of in between a hostel and a business hotel. Showers are located in a weird place, but if you don't mind that it's fine. The staff was helpful when I had an issue with my heater, so that was good.
Such a great hostel! Clean, warm, cozy, with a good location. Lots of info on things to do, and takayama in general is a nice place.
A great, new hostel in Fukuoka. A bit of a walk from Hakata, but it's close to one of the subway lines, which is great. The place is tiny, but what else would you expect in Japan? Loved my stay, just wish there were more to do in the area.
A great place to stay. The location was right next to the station as well as the cable car, so it was good for a quick stopover, but even better for seeing the amazing city.
Great place in a really neat renovated old building. The staff was awesome, and Nagano as a city is fantastic. The hostel was right next to the zenkoji temple, and a short walk from the local train station. Even the JR station was only a twenty minute walk.
A nice, big hostel in Kyoto. It's decently close to the station, our as close as anything can be in this huge city. Proximity to the subway really helped a lot. Other than that it's a great hostel with a nice bar and breakfast buffet.

Super awesome hostel located decently close to some cool parts of Osaka. The staff was awesome and attentive, and the common kitchen area feels like a great place to meet new people.
Great place to stay in fukuoka! Close to a lot of shopping and a few cool sights too. Not as social as I would've expected, so probably better for group travelers rather than solo.

Awesome hostel! The bar was super cool and the drinks were delicious and a really good value. The dorms were clean and had outlets next to each bed--AWESOME.
Fantastic place! It was clean, comfortable, and had a great bar/restaurant downstairs. A common-area/lounge would have been nice, but besides that everything else was great! The dorms are great, and there are even Japanese traditional-style private rooms.
The dorm smelled damp and weird, and the electric outlets were inconvenient and placed weird. But the bar/restaurant on the first floor was nice, and the location was right next to a subway station, which was great.

The location was okay-- I wouldn't walk around alone at night outside, but it is close to the rail and greyhound station, as well as the light rail. The hostel itself was in an old renovated hotel, which was cool, and there were some neat events going on. Nice for a solo traveler to try to meet people. Though.... some of the staff was helpful and friendly, but others seemed like they absolutely hated interacting with guests. That made it a bit less pleasant.
A good place to stay in the city. The 6 bed dorm was a little crowded, but the 4 bed dorm was a good size. The bar in the bottom was nice and had some cool deals. Also going on excursions with the hostel gave you 20% off at the bar, which was great. I met some cool people there too, so it was a nice social hostel for a solo traveler.
A good place, but not super social. More common areas where people could hang out would be good. It's a nice hostel for Seattle and the bed was SUPER comfy. Maybe not good for solo travelers who want to meet people.
Such a great place! Super social, but in the female dorms I was able to get sleep just fine (it wasn't too loud at all). They have a bar and a nice little hangout spot. When I went, the only partiers were guys, so a bit of a sausage fest, but still a great hostel!
Free waffles in the morning was awesome! It was a nice social hostel. Maybe not super great if you want sleep, but it was great other than that
Such a great and chill hostel. Not a party hostel at all, so it's a good place to get some sleep or at least a feeling of being at home. So comfy!!
