A bit hard to find in the evening and the neighbourhood was not the most welcoming, but as soon as you enter the hostel, you feel at home. Nice design and free and cheap caiprinhas for the night. The staff is very chill and there to help you. Would definitely recommend it!

Good breakfast, friendly staff but it looks more like a hotel for couples than a hostel, so just be aware of that so you don't choose a hostel that doesn't fit you

Very good location near the Copacabana beach and right next to the metro. Breakfast is great with fruits and fresh juice. And there are plenty of people working at the hostel who are there to help you. Not so cool things is that you don't have a key to your room, meaning that the door of your dorm is never looked, not so secured. Also the wifi in the room isn't the best, but in all other areas it's good. You can't always use the kitchen (not late at night) which is annoying. Liked & Recommended!

Good location and great atmosphere. Free Breakfast is only pancakes though, if you don't like pancakes it sucks! But the rest was fine!

Central Hostel Riga

Good value for money. Not right in the centre but not far though (like 15 minutes so it's okay). Close to the bus station so that's good! Everything was clean (rooms, showers, ...). One thing that wasn't that good is the size of the kitchen: in the morning when everyone wants to use plates/knive, it was a bit hard with all the people in the room. But in overall, very satisfied!

A bit far from the city centre but easily reachable by public transports. Free wifi, swimming pool and super cheap. Worth it

The hostel is great and located just next to the train station so really easy to get there. The hostel is not that far from the city centre (like 10-15 minutes from the main attractions). Staff is really chill (even bought me beer); and they organise events in the evenings (example: beer pong). You get free pasta in the evening, which is great if you wanna travel cheap but you'll still be hungry afterwards as the portion is not that big. Kitchen is great, everything you need is there. Hostel Van Gogh

Just next to the Van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum and the famous 'Iamstredam', so I'd say it's well located (even though you have to walk for 15 minutes at least to reach the "real" centre of the city (where the bars and coffeeshops are located). Other than that everything was fine, the rooms were really clean and the shower/toilets as well. The only negative point is that you can't use the oven and the kitchen (so only a microwave is available). You can also use 2 computers for free !
