It was conveniently located. Most of the staff were absolutely lovely but one person was extremely unhelpful and required my friend to go all the way to an atm to pay a 5 euro key deposit before checking in.

Hotel Perissa, Santorini, Greece
9.1
27th May 2013

We were extremely impressed with the amazing service and hospitality of the owners of Hotel Perissa. They went far above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I cannot say enough about how excellent they were! The hotel is very good value for money, with large, clean rooms with bathrooms, a huge swimming pool, and a pool bar. The location is good for beach access, but slightly farther from main town. Easy to get around on a scooter or bike though. Overall, highly recommended.

Morfoulas Studios, Mykonos, Greece

23rd May 2013

We enjoyed our stay at Morfoulas studios. The location is excellent, and our room had a spectacular view over the town and the ocean. The studios were clean, and well kept. We had a nice balcony, as well as a sitting area outside. The staff picked us up and dropped us off at the port, and were friendly and accommodating. It wasn't cheap, compared with other places we stayed, but Mykonos was also more expensive on a whole. Overall, we would definitely recommend Morfoulas. It also had English TV!

Cheers Hostel, Istanbul, Turkey

We enjoyed our time at Cheers Hostel. The location was great, staff was friendly, rooms and bathrooms were clean. There were computers provided in the lobby for free internet access, and a pleasant bar upstairs. Overall, a great hostel. Our one complaint was the noise, as there was constant loud music from near the lobby. Next time, I would absolutely book a private room, which is more expensive but much better to sleep in.

The location was convenient in terms of proximity to major sight-seeing destinations. However, due to the location in a back street, it wasn't the best view or atmosphere. The room was nice, clean and fairly quiet. However, the bathrooms were not good. One shower had almost no pressure, the other had no hook to put the faucet on. There was no shower curtain, almost impossible to not spill water all on the floor, which was inconvenient because it was in the same room as toilet and sink.
