Nice place with kind and professional people, far from amsterdam so you'll have to find something to do at night. Be advised that it takes a long time from there to go to the center town. We had to walk 15 min to the train station, that was not available when we were there (railworks or something) so we had to take a bus for another bus etc... took nearly 1 hour and a half. So basically if you leave the camping, you'll not coming back until you're done with the center of amsterdam.

Simply the best backpacker hostel i've been. Friendly welcoming, very nice and clean place, but this is not the best part : - free breakfast ! - free internet access on 2 computers - kitchen and fridges you can use, free. - Cheap laundry, plus they dry your clothes. - TV+DVDs available in the living room. - clean place, very nice atmosphere overall, would recommand to everyone. The only negative point is that you can't stay out at night during summer, but u can go on the street though.

Pros : In front of the U-bahn station // Small area outside, you easily meet and talk with people, compared to other big youth hostels. Cons: Unfriendly welcoming (that guy...) unprofessional, etc.. the worst i've seen in germany by far. Place isn't dirty, but not clean neither (mold under beds). You have to pay for kitchen, sheets(if you don't you'll neeed a sleeping bag), laundry is expensive, no breakfast. Looks very amateur-like and quite unfriendly overall, would not recommend AT ALL.

Very professional hostel, open 24/24 with everything you need. Not very human sized as it kinda looks like a real hotel, but not really much to say as cons. The breakfast is a little bit expensive but you will have a large choice though.
