City Backpackers Hostel

Stockholm, Sweden

This is easily the best hostel I've ever stayed at-- a really friendly staff that will sit and chill with you, Mac computers with fast internet, free pasta for everyone in the kitchen, dorm style rooms with really comfortable pillows (bring your own linen if you don't want to pay extra though!), every day of the week there's a movie and activity, and more. It also has a strong internet connection, for those with their own computer devices. I was sad to leave it. Thanks CityBackpackers :)

Ah, don't be sad! There are so many wonderful places and awesome people in this world, you have to move around a bit (even if a big number of awesome people can be found right here!) And you are welcome back anytime! Kindly Lena

Interestingly, this is a Christian hostel. Which is fine and dandy when you're purposefully trying to book a Christian hostel. However nowhere on did they advertise themselves as such so it was a culture shock when I arrived. There are barely any plugs, and it's not a very social hostel- people tend to keep to themselves, and conversations are usually religious by nature. However, it did a provide a roof over my head, with a complimentary breakfast. It was average at best.
