The staff is definitely what made this hostel so great! They are unbelievably helpful and just generally awesome to talk to. It's also fantastically located; right near Big Ben, Westminster, the London Eye, and several underground stations. Though only downside is that there aren't a ton of showers, but you just kind of deal with it. The dorms are really spacious too! The bar is super reasonably priced, and it has a super cool atmosphere. This is definitely the place to stay while in London!
We stayed there for a for night while we were in Birmingham for a concert. The rooms are pretty average but what you would expect for a hostel. The common room is pretty cool. They've got a big screen tv and a ton of movies that you can just check out for free. The staff are all super friendly and super easy to approach about anything or just talk to. It's really close to city centre so that was really nice. Also, like two blocks from the Institute if anyone is going to a show there!
It was definitely nice to have our own room at the same rate, if not lower than most dorm-room style hostels in the area. We got our own bathroom and there was even a TV in the room! It was like a 5 minute walk from a lot of places to eat and two metro stations. The free breakfast with coffee/tea and croissants in the morning was nice to have too. I would definitely recommend for anyone who is used to hostel life!
Loved this hostel! It is in a super cool building with tons of cool art on the walls! The staff is super helpful and willing to answer any questions about the city, the cool places to go, good pubs in the area, and really anything else. The kitchen was huge and definitely had ample room for storage. They had 4 computers with fast internet (the whole hostel had good wifi though) and had a bunch of couches and places to chill. Definitely one of my favorite hostels ever, in my favorite city.
