Very relaxed chilled and clean hostel. The bed was comfy and the sleeping area is spacious as well. You get a 20% discount at the restaurant and bar with your stay. (Except for the craft beer). The craft beer is good stuff too. I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.
Dear guest, Hello and thank you for your stay and review under the highest score. Hopefully see you someday, Best regards,

This is a capsule hotel that was refurbished into a hostel. It is pretty dated as the pods seen its glory days during Japans economic bubble time. There are signs in the capsules that say don`t use your phone or to Skype in them. But, its not followed with people(Chinese) using snap chat or Skype in them. Making for a noisy stay in them. Nice view next to the river which was nice.

Overnight stay only but a lovely place overall. Liked the lounge theme, Only minus is the last check in is at 10 pm. So coming in late can be a hassle if you did not`t give them notice.

This is a hostel that doubles as a cafe. You can rent a skateboard here which was a first. You have the option for a breakfast for an additional fee which does not include a coffee only juice or milk which was a bummer. At least add a discount upgrade option since you added breakfast. I love the location and access to Yoyogi park and Harajuku and not too far from Shibuya. But, I wish there was a way t lower the temperature in the room. I was sweating and found it hard to sleep in.
First, thank you for your stay with us. Also, if there was anything that you felt inconvenience for, we are very sorry about that. Regarding the breakfast coffee is not included in, we will be advised by your tip and try to develop it to meet more of guests' needs. And if you have another chance to travel in Tokyo, please kindly let us hear from you. Kind regards Jun almond hostel & cafe

Overall a nice hostel near the imperial garden and residence which is a great place for a run. Was a short in and out stay. I like that there were USB charging outlets in the sleeping space. However the one in my bunk did not work. Cool there was a real Owl in the hostel to see. Nice to get a complainant drink at the bar below even if it was small.
Dear valued guest, Thank you for having stayed at wise owl. We were wondering if you have enjoyed spending your time with us. Please let us know about your experience when you come back to Tokyo next time. Best, WOH

I love that it is located next to the Kabuki theater around the corner. Was able to finally check out a live show. The capsules were tidy just a little dusty on the shelves inside so attention to details. But, overall I enjoyed my one night stay and liked it.

It can be tricky to find if you use GPS google maps as it will take you in circles away from the location. It was pretty laid back I was only here a single night to crash but staff was really nice. Not far from the Rakuten Baseball Stadium if you're looking to watch a game.

Awesome place to reload and soak in the onsen after running a marathon. I stopped here only for a day and was happy with the place overall. If you just want to experience a capsule hotel this one is decent. It`s an older era style capsule but its decent.

This was my second time staying here. Still awesome like the first time. Its next to Sesensoji which is cool and really nice to wander at night as there are no crowds. In the common area you usually have a nice view of the pagoda but unlucky it was under renovations. But, this visit random outside guest would be chilling a bit strange being not hostel guest and there is no bar. The smoking area had the smell of pee but that was not the hotel fault but a guest. Nice place nontheless.
Thank you for staying with us!! Sorry for the view from the common room. I hope there will be a chance for you to come back Japan:)

Spent two days here but really enjoyed it. The hostel is next to the port so only less then 15 mins to get over to Miyajima. It` `s a bit away from Hiroshima about a 35-45 train ride but good mid point if you want to head to Iwakuni. It makes for a great base camp that centered along the sites. Staff was excellent and it was real chill. I would stay again for sure.
Thank you for your time to give us such a kind comment! Our hostel is next to ferry terminal. So very easy to go Miyajima and the view from the roof is really beautiful! We are looking forward to seeing you again!

It a good location in Namba which is great if you want to stay out late and not worry about last trains. Chill bar you can hang out in and the common areas were nice. The only con was the air controls counldn`t be modified and the room got really hot. Also someone took my beer from the fridge and it was tagged. But, there is always that person at a hostel. Overall great place to stay.

Second time staying here but I like the location as its near the entertainment and shopping strip. Being a hot summer I love the air that was rocking in the rooms. Some places the tempture is a locked setting so can feel warm. The beds were nice so got a good sleep. Good stay here.

Only stayed here for the night but it seemed pretty laid back. I chatted with the staff they were awesome. The other guest seemed to keep to themselves which was different from the hostel enviroment. I was told it was the norm as its an escape from the big city styles. The shower room was a trek through the common space so strange design. If climbing Fuji or maybe a day kicking it in Fuji Q land its a great stay to recover.

Not a bad hostel and not far from the station. Its location is mid point to Akiba or heading towards a stop away to Asakusa. The cost was a bit more compared to other hostels in the area but it was nice. But, a great place if you play Pokemon go the spawns along the river were legit. But, I enjoyed my stay here and the beds were spacious.

Nice place that has a cool common area which had a huge TV in which everyone was watching the Olympics games on. The had a really cool goemon bath that looked awesome. However it was only a night stay stop over so didn`t get to try it out. On a plus you get a towel to use which was a bonus. They had some really nice shampoo and conditioner which was black but made my hair rock. I would stay here again for sure.

The room I stayed in the bathroom fan didn't work so the bathroom had a bad smell upon arrive. This hostel is in a good location though near Hakata station which is a plus. The hostel name recently changed over so some signs still had the old name and not updated.

This was a repeat visit for me. It remained a great hostel to stay at. This time I drove here and there was good nearby parking not pricey like other cities. Staff was friendly answering any question and pointed out Yamachan wings place that is an great izakaya in Japan. Always meet great company here. It`s a great base camp for sure.

Stayed a single day here but it was a newer place and clean. There was a cafe below but didn`t eat or drink there. It seemed like a quite place more of a hope inbetween place to stay. Its not far from Namba which is good if you want to head that way.
Thank you very much for your staying our hostel. We will keep our service and improve everything what we need as soon as possible. KInd regards,

A one day stop over had awesome staff working great to chat with. There was a bar but it was empty and the bar staff was busy closing up so not too socialable. Not far from the arcade shopping area. Warning if you drive the parking in this area is really high. Lesson learned the night before stay at another hostel and the price was fair.

Great location if you want to be near Kyoto Station about a 10 minute walk. If your driving there is reasonable parking in the area vs around other areas. Staff gave a great recommend for Kobe Style fired steak which was awesome went twice. The only negative is compared to other hostel its not the most sociable one seemed most folks here were quite and avoid each other. They do have a bar however a bit pricey but they have one, Good place to chill and lay low.

This is a converted hotel turn hostel like place. It`s an older building and could use some cleaning as the bathrooms go. The price is cheap and you get what you paid. It was a short stay so it was ok. But, if I was here more then a day I get a nicer place. Ok if you just want to crash for the night.

Very awesome ryokan and I love this place I would stay here again for sure. I love the Onsen and the Yukata they provide. Very clean and they had craft beer in the vending machine a bit pricey but nice to be available. I will come again when my friends come to Japan from home. Very nice style and you can get an option for dinner or breakfast as well.

I love how when they are not packed they will give you the dorm room to yourself. The staff was super cool I would chat with them and they were always helpful. I would stay again for sure. I stayed for two days and really enjoyed it. The owner always gave me fresh fruit and even special sake to drink on New Years Eve. What was even more awesome was on New Years eve at midnight he took me and another guest to the local shrine to make our New Years wish a great Japanese style experience. I had a early bus out the next morning and he drove me to the station at 5am! Now that is super hospitably of any place I have stayed in. The location is in a great spot to see the mountains too.

This hostel is a easy walk around the corner from the station. I am a fan of craft beer which they had their own in the downstairs bar area.Seemed a bit on the quite side I was here for two days but it was nice, This is a hostel where most get up early and check out early its seems compared to most hostels in Japan. Overall I recommend it.

This hostel was a little hidden coming at night on top but was found across from the Family mart on a hill. The place was pretty chilled and the location is about 10 minutes walk from Kobe station which is good to hope to Hemeji. A number of shop, stores and restaurants are near as well. I would stay here again when I come through again.

A new hostel in a great area easy to get to anywhere in Asakusa. I have stayed at many hostels in the area and this one I can give a thumbs up on. I will stay here on my next visit for. Staff was really nice and it was very clean. Close to a few convenience stores as well.

This was my second time staying here. It a good solid hostel but people seem to keep to their own here verse others. Maybe with the weak yen most people staying were from Taiwan or China was a bit suprised. It on the opposite side of the strip area so about an extra 10 min walk to the main areas.

About 10mins walk away from the station. But, its about 5 mins walk away from a Yama Chans a famous chicken wings chain in Nagoya. Staff was really nice and it was a chill hostel. Only two showers so can be a bit busy if your timing off. But, I enjoyed this hostel and would stay again for sure. Ann the owner was really cool. At night the walls are thin so sound can travel if your wanting to crash out early. Overall a nice hostel.

This is a office building turned into a comfortable hostel. Not too far from places to see all within walking distance about 15mins or so. A most excellent staff was really helpful and great to talk with. I would stay here again for sure. It was a bit quite but it was a weekday so not fully booked at the time. Great facilities and each living area had a TV to watch to chill out. The living area is partition so if you had a loud group sound could travel. Excellent stay here.

A smaller hostel but it was nice.Stayed here with a nice size group for a few days after climbing Fujisan. The staff was always helpful and the down stairs American Style bar was pretty cool. The hostel was a bit hard to find with a little sign that was hidden. The hostel itself is quite nice and is clean. The bathroom double as a shower so the floors were always wet. The breakfast was good to go with a station to make eggs and toast. It is a quite place not much for meeting others as the common area is small. But, if you like a quite hostel its great. It's near line two which can take you to most of the major site areas. The staff were nice and if I had any question the help out.

The Original is more chill then their down town location. The sheets had glitter on them so not sure why. The WiFi was a bit spotty here though. I ask the staff and they said they were having issues. But, other then that I enjoyed my stay here. Its near a good number of attractions and places to eat. I did there Castaway tour and would recommend it for sure.

The staff was pretty sharp on anything that I may of asked about. Right on backpackers ally and close to a number of places. A really good smoothie shop at the corner. I enjoyed this hostel. One night had some Kiwis yelling and making drama even trying to stir up a fight and the staff seem to have a problem trying to control it. The bathrooms in the dorms could use a little attention but the breakfast was pretty good. Overall not a bad place to crash.

This guest house had a really friendly staff that was always ready to answer any questions. The room I had was small but you can't beat the price. The only issue I had was they forgot to give me back a piece of laundry which I had them cleaned for me. But, I emailed them about it and they were really nice and sent it to Vietnam to my next hostel. The breakfast they include is really good as well. They made it easy to set up rides to the airport as well.

The lock box was broken so I used my mates as the key didn't work. They staff member who was from Canada was a bit drunk when I check in. Didn't really give a tour or explain much. Just took us up to the room and left. The sheets were not clean either having stains. It a party hostel for sure but was really loud when trying to check in.The bar area is pretty cool and you can meet other backpackers easily to socialize with. The breakfast included is really good though.
Hey, Thank you for taking the time out and leaving a review of our hostel. I appreciate the feedback you have given about being taken up to your room. We have since then done a lot of training in regards to check in procedures and also giving information to customers when they first arrive. I am glad to see you enjoyed our free breakfast. Excellent new hostel that is very clean and only a stop away from Haneda airport. Really great if you got an early flight out or late flight in. I stayed here twice and the owner is really nice and even kept something of mine that I forgot two weeks prior. About a five minute way from the station and easy access to convenient stores and places to get a bite to eat. I like the fact that they even have some craft beer which they sell. Really nice comfortable beds as well. I will stay here again!

I enjoyed my stay here and I like the bar. I stayed a few nights and one night they had a local event so was really crowded in the bar area so could move around. Overall I enjoyed the hostel its near a handful of stations and easy access to Haneda airport. But, one thing I thought was inconvenience was they have a bar open til past midnight. I asked it I could check in at 11pm and told me they couldn't check in past 10pm. Yet, they have staff working past 12.I had to book with another hostel.

If your heading to Aki I say this is the place to stay as its so close. I love the capsule bunks where you have private space you can seal yourself in. Staff was cool and even good info posted on a board that has some nice finds that maybe you miss to research. I like the art and humor of the hostel. I was on the top high floor which is fine as I travel light as a backpacker. But, if you got alot of luggage well hope you don't get the top floor. I left my pack in storage 2days fine.

Great experience staying here for the whole capsule experience. I'm 6'3 tall and was fine sleeping in. I cleaned up in the onsen and even got a nice foot massage for 20 more. Nice lounges and full service for drink and food. Entertaining areas were great. You get a wrist band to charge anything you add or get. Then pay on check out if you use it. I had a few beers and the foot massage so a little more but enjoyed it much. For the night time close to the Robot Restaurant I recommend that..

The hostel was excellent overall I had a smelly room but it was the luck of the draw with who was in the room. I was there at a busy time during golden week so it couldn't be helped. This hostel was a little tricky to see I passed it twice it looked like a bar from the front. But, it was a nice stay for a good lay over. It's about a 12 min walk from the station. The station is near the square and forbidden city about 12 mins walk as well. The bar/dinner area was nice and cheap so can't complain. The rooms were nice as well. I would stay here gain on my next come around.

Stay for a two night stay and its a nice place just a little far from places to go drinking or entertainment areas. But, its key to travel to the sights of the city. The staff were awesome I didn't have any problems asking for anything. Note you cannot consume alcoholic at the hostel per rules. My only concern was booking what was noted as a two bed private room with my brah and it was only one bed. We are bros so it was ok but the booking noted other. Good for a few days stop.
Hi Tim, we're glad you enjoyed your stay at the hostel. We are a 1-minute walk from one of Delhi's coolest markets which has many cafes, bars, and restaurants. We are also 15mins by tuk-tuk from Hauz Khas Village which is the city's best party spot. Our private room is listed on Hostelworld as a Double private which means it has a double bed. Rooms with 2 separate beds are listed as Twin Bed as is norm in hostels/hotels. We don't have any twin rooms. Safe travels!

Ok so I have stayed here twice staying in the mix dorm on the 3rd floor and guys dorm on the 4th floor. Pro of the capsule style in the mix is good private space and nice space. Con its next to the kitchen area or lounge so in the early morning its hard to sleep as you hear people talk and making noises in the Am. The 4th floor mix is better when it came down to being able to sleep. The hostel itself is close to the ports to travel out. Its about a 10-15 walk from the main strip of tenmonkan.

The hostel is a tram stop away from the Nagasaki Station and a walk away from Dejima. Also really good eats at Dejima port if you want to try local Champon Udon really good. Also a tram ride or 20 min walk from Gunkanjima ferry tour I recommend seeing it. Staff is nice to give you info. Be cool if they had a board showing all the sites or recommendation like other hostels but other then that great place.

About a 2 min walk from the nearest tram and about 10 mins walk from the main station. The hostel is in a quite residential part of the city. It was a very nice hostel and the staff was nice and helpful. There were many places to see but during the Japanese holidays many were closed from Dec 30 to Jan 3. But, I would come back and stay here to see what I missed for sure. You can hope a tram to Atom dome in 15 mins or 35 mins to Miyajima.

This is one the top hostels I have stayed at in terms of Atmosphere with a roof top bar where you can drink and even smoke a hookah. They have a their own restaurant with decent price food as well and usually have a BBQ at night as well. Very close to China town if you want to haggle some shops. Very nice Hostel and really clean. It matches the the cleanness of Singapore. Great theme and super friendly and cute staff who help in any way they can. It location is near China Town and close to Clark Q the partying drink area. I used the subway and tram system very little as everything was so close. It was a little quite but a great place in terms or meeting up with others.

It's a newer hostel by the look of the place. The common area is nice to chill out in. The pictures can make the hostel look much bigger then what it is. The hostel itself is not far from the subway station and walking distance of 10 mins to star ferry. The rooms can tend to be quite cramped when fully filled. The bathroom room however is next to the check in desk so someone just went and you could smell it. The bathroom is unisex with two showers one good size and the other very small.

The location is about 15 to 20 mins depending on the station. It can be a little hard to find if you come late in the evening. The hostel is close to Namba which is nice. The hostel is narrow and felt a little cramped. The staff was really nice and gave some good information about a Owl cafe which was awesome. Overall it was an average hostel not much of a community as to meet others.

This hostel is only about a 10 minute walk from the main station. It has a nice little bar/restaurant connected to it. The bed was very nice with good space. I'm 6"3 and I was comfortable and could stretch out. The only thing which was a bummer was I wanted to cancel a day of my stay but still had to pay for it. Staff was amazing and stayed working late to check me in as I was a late arrival. Very patience and helpful. I would stay again for sure. About a 12 minute walk away from the station and across from a kobinne. The only thing I would say is the bunk bed I was on was very squeaky. I felt bad for who was below me as when I moved it would make noise. Luck of the draw for a bed.
