Immediate thought after being taken to our room was "this is a really nice hostel!" staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean and tidy, bed was decent. Only negative points were that there's only two toilets for the whole place, and the walls are very thin so if there are any noisey guests it can make it hard to sleep - the noise down after 10pm rule doesnt seem to be enforced at all...

excellent little hostel, about a 10 minute walk to Darling Harbor. I stayed in a 4 bed mixed dorm with my fiancee. Was a little cramped when full with the baggage but ok. Could benefit from more plug sockets. the kitchen is really quite small, but we managed to use it for cooking on the hob and grill just fine. does have a few extra ants living there too, but nothing really major. Bathrooms are pretty good, were 3 shared ones on the top floor, which were plenty - no big queues. would recommend!

A bit out of the way from the popular backpacker hostels in Talat Yot, but much closer to the train stations which was welcomed with our heavy bags and long trip, but still a bit of a maze to find it. Room was very basic, but clean. However, there was a horrid stench coming from the toilet drain by the end of the day - im guessing with the heat, and was quite overpowering at times. Couldnt get the wifi to work in the room, but there is a fantastic bar come restaurant on the top floor with wifi.
