Room clean and a good size, plenty of bathrooms. Free internet and a library which were a nice addition. Staff were friendly but seemed to be there more for their free room rather than anything else. Breakfast free but not particularly nice (coffee undrinkable) and sometimes the room was so full of staff eating breakfast that paying guests couldn't even sit down. Overall atmosphere was a bit patronising, felt that we were treated more like kids than paying guests. Location good but very noisy.

By far the best hostel we've ever stayed in. So clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Really good location with lots of restaurants close by and a CTA station just around the corner. Really nice breakfast, great coffee! Would highly recommend.

Broadway Hotel n Hostel

This review is for the ROYAL PARK HOTEL. We were booked into the Broadway but on arrival were told that they didn't have enough rooms available and that we would be staying at their sister property the Royal Park Hotel on 97th Street. Unsure as to why this was the case but it was only 4 blocks away so not a massive problem. Overall it was ok, the room was very comfortable but there were nowhere near enough bathrooms. Staff not unhelpful but not especially friendly. Not a hostel atmosphere.
