Nice clean hostel, well located too all the main attractions in Istanbul. 2min walk to tram line. Nice hot showers and comfy beds, with nice thick pillows! Rooftop bar with great view over the water, and a free dinner or event on each night, plus one of the best free breakfasts I have had in a hostel!

You will extend your stay here! It happens to everyone. You will come back a second time, Vitae has you now...Great location, on the tram line, next to great thrift shops if your a poor cold traveler. Large friendly common area where everyone meets up each night, you will not be alone. Staff are great, always down for a chat and can recommend all the good places to go/do/eat. I have now eaten my way through Budapest, but they also have a very well equipped Kitchen if that's more your style.

Your typically Wombats hostel, they are identical all around Europe. Large and Clean hostel, with a kitchen. WIFI doesn't quite reach the rooms to be useable, and alot of school groups in when I was there. Bar down stairs and a great street market across the road. Easy walk into city center.

I had a great stay here. Right in the middle of the old town, close to everything. Staff are great, and free nibbles of a night during drinking and spontaneous hat parties. I will be back here next summer.

Stayed here twice now. Super friendly and cool staff. Rooms are nice and clean with good bathrooms. The bar down stairs gets really busy on the weekends with heaps of young locals coming in, they had a live band one night and swing dancing the other night, amazing fun. But if you want to sleep, its very quiet in the rooms and you can't hear anything. Located just back from the main street so their is no traffic or street noise. And get the breakfast!

Clean and in a great location, also very cheap, what more do you need? No real communal area like most hostels, just the front porch where you can have a few drinks and chat. No staff for most of the day or night, only during check in.

Clean and nice big dorm rooms to move around in. Not a great deal of a social atmosphere during the day but at night the roof top bar really picks up. 30 second walk to the train station and a Gyros shop.

Great Location and the free meal is awesome, just make sure you get a seat early! The bar is always packed and it's very easy to meet people if your solo. The showers could do with a bit of work so they don't flood the bathroom tho...

2 min walk to the town center. If you can't find it, look for the brothel next door, but they cause no problems. Not a lot of atmosphere going on here, just a place to sleep. Head to the other backpackers at night if you want to meet people.

Clean and busy hostel. Night club in the basement that gets busy at nights. A 5 min walk to town but heaps of adventure shops close by. Bar has 2 happy hours and sells good, cheap food. Rooms are locked for a few hours in the day for cleaning which is a bit odd these days. I would come back, and the best place in town to party.

Nice beds and an amazing roof terrace, right in the middle of the old town. Cheap food, although I didn't try any of it. The bad thing is the aggressive and confrontational touts they have working for them, that will follow you all the way from the bus station to the hostel, and then seem to hang around in the hostel entry all day.
