Truong Giang Hotel Nha Trang

This hotel was great! I would definitely stay here again. It's in a good location with plenty of restaurants near by and the beach is within minutes of walking. We arranged our transport to HCM through them too. It was a sleeper bus which cost 300k (I think) which was the nicer bus with amazing wifi and a toilet. This was the first public transport we have been on in Vietnam which I would say was good! We have been on a lot.. And it was the first one to be on time too!

Hotel was good, no probs there. We booked a 'sleeper bus' to take us at 6am from the hotel to Nha Trang. It was NOT a sleeper bus and there was NOT a toilet as promised. Half way through our journey we had to get off the regular coach where 22 of us were made to travel for 4 hours in a 16 seater minibus. It was horrendous and terrifying. I appreciate this could be the company's fault, not the hotels, however I feel I am entitled to a $40 refund as we did not receive the service we paid for.

This hotel was perfect. Very clean and the room smelt 'hotel clean' too which was a first for us in Vietnam. And a good thing! The hotel staff threw a NYE party for Tet which was really fun. They are very friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival our train to Hue was over an hour late but Kenny still waited for us. Thank you!

Lovely little place, very quiet but that could have been because it was coming up to Tet. There doesn't seem to be many good places to eat around here though. Or maybe we just didn't look hard enough. We were able to book a tour to the caves through the hostel too which was handy. They also very kindly booked our ongoing train tickets.

Staff were very attentive and kind. The tour desk was great and it was very quick and easy for us to plan our time in Vietnam. The hotel room was clean, no problems at all. It is a quiet hotel and perfect to use as a base for when exploring Hanoi.

This place is great. Very lively with lots of people to chat to. Our room was fantastic and we had a lot of help from the staff when needing to sort out transport and tours etc. We went on the panda day trip. Our driver/guide was awful. He showed us around the park but gave us all the impression he really didn't want to be there. He walked round with us with his head down low playing on his ipad/tablet. It almost put us off the tour ..but then we saw the pandas which made it all worth it.

This hostel is tucked away down a narrow street but it was still really easy to find with the directions we were given. It's in a really good location, only a few minutes walk from the subway. Our triple room was lovely and the heating worked amazingly well!

The location of this hostel is superb for exploring the city. Our four bed dorm was too small for four huge bags but the staff allowed us to keep them outside of our room (which was secure) , so lack of space isn't really a big deal.

Hostel was fine if using just as a base to explore the city. The bed was basically a mattress on the floor but still comfortable to have a good nights sleep. Excellent location, minutes away from a subway station.

This place was great for a 3 day trip over the full moon party. It's really close to the port and easy to find with lots of cheap restaurants nearby. It cost us 100 baht each way to get to the FMP. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have a cat allergy. Even though the cats don't go in the rooms, I still really suffered.

This place definitely provides you with a unique experience...be prepared to constantly have sandy feet! My only suggestion is whether there is anything that can be done to make the toilets less smelly. It's not very nice taking a shower and being able to smell the toilet.

yup, it's definitely got the beachy jungle feel here :) our apologies for the toilet smell- no fun. It was a temporary issue that went on for a few days in connection to our bathroom remodel that happened just before your visit. Now all you can smell is shampoo during a shower :) happy travels!

We stayed here for 1 night. The accommodation was okay if you are just stopping for a short visit. As everyone mentions there is a steep hill but it's not too bad. We were collected from the pier and we had a 10 minute walk to the resort, but we didn't have to carry our bags. When we got to the infamous steep hill there was a truck waiting for us so you don't need to worry about climbing up it with luggage.

This place is okay for a one night stopover but they would really benefit from a better cleaner. Just to remove the chewed up gum from the wall near our bed would have been a huge improvement.....and if you prefer a clean room, I would advise against looking under the bed..huge mistake I made there! On a plus the staff were very kind.

The room we stayed in could have benefitted from a deep clean and new blinds as they looked so mouldy/dirty, I didn't want to look too close. Only one member of staff was friendly to us. And we didn't really appreciate the staff bitching about some of the guests. Conversations like that should be kept a little more private. Or if you don't have anything nice to say....

We stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom. The room was very very basic but had everything we needed for 2 travellers on a world trip. The room came with a kitchen area which was a bonus. The hostel was very close to the subway so it was easy to get around. The area felt safe, as did the hostel. I would recommend making sure you take the hostels telephone number with you so you can ring to check in if you arrive late.
