Community Hostel, Quito, Ecuador
9.1
6th Apr 2016

This is an amazing hostel! Breakfast is not included but for $3 you get a good breakfast with loads of food. It's a lot going on, the facilities are nice and well kept and everyone is hanging out in the dining room so it's easy to meet people. The showers might be the best in South American. I had an amazing stay and can highly recommend it!

Yambolombia Hostel, Salento, Colombia
9.1
14th Mar 2016

I loved yambolombia and planned to stay 2 night but stayed 5 instead. Gabriel helps you with everything you need and they arrange some activities to hang out at night time. The hostel doesn't have wifi which makes it an amazing atmosphere and people actually socializing. The kitchen has everything you'll need. I found the location good bc it wasn't in town but obviously it depends on what you're looking for. They'll definitely take care of you here, it's super chill! Space for camping as well!

Hostel San Gil, San Gil, Colombia
8.6
9th Mar 2016

It's not really like a hostel, it's more like you're staying with the owner. The kitchen is fully equipped and the hostel is very small with not a lot of rooms. Oscar, the owner, is an amazing host and helps with everything. He booked bus tickets, activities and in general tells you everything you need to know about San Gil. The only down part would be that the room didn't have ac but I could sleep anyway so it wasn't a problem for me. I can highly recommend it!

Mi Llave Hostels Cartagena, Cartagena, Colombia
8.3
5th Mar 2016

It's totally worth the money bc all the hostels in Cartagena are pricey. Breakfast is totally fine with both bread, coffee and yogurt. The English of the staff is not the best so it's an amazing opportunity to practice Spanish! The staff is helpful and the hostel is clean! I didn't try the lunch but they had lunch available pretty cheap. The only down side is probably that I had a 13 bed dorm without ac which is a bit difficult in cartagena. A lot of fans tho! I had a good stay and can recommend

Divanga Bed & Breakfast, Taganga, Colombia
7.1
1st Mar 2016

The divanga hostel is a decent place but the facilities were more worn out than I expected and the kitchen didn't have too much and easily filled up with ants. The breakfast is additional and I found it kinda pricy for what you get. Other than that the rooms have private bathrooms, which is good, and I ably had a three bed dorm so it feels more private. Location is alright. A few minute walk to the beach. Not the best place I've been to but it's alright!

It's a pretty good hostel and one of the cheaper in Cartagena. I missed a breakfast tho. Kitchen is descent, could use some more things but over all a pretty good place. Showers are good. Wifi only works inside, not in the backyard. Room had AC. Pretty chill hostel. It's okay.

The Dreamer Hostel, Santa Marta, Colombia

15th Feb 2016

It's probably the best hostel in Santa Marta and they arrange a lot of tours you can sign up for. The breakfast is additional but it's an amazing buffet and worth the 9,5 thousand pesos. Always a lot of people hanging out by the pool and the food from the restaurant is amazing!bAC in the rooms. I can highly recommend it!

The staff is amazing! We wanted to go to a fruit market and they then gave us a tour through the area and took us to a cheaper place we would never find on our own. They are super helpful! Perfect location. The kitchen is good and toilets nice and clean. Unfortunately we didn't have hot water. Lockers in every room. It's a new hostel so with time it's gonna develop and be amazing! I can absolutely recommend it!

Super comfortable bed and blankets but we could have used a few more toilets. The kitchen is good but we missed breakfast. The area is not in the historical center and it's not a lot going on in this area even tho it's very close to the city center. Over all an okay hostel to stay a few nights and especially if you need to catch up on sleep!

Could be the best hostel I've stayed in. Amazing breakfast, comfy and big beds, the owner arranges activities, it's small and you get to know the people bc everyone hangs out in the backyard, clean, very helpful staff. The backyard is cool and has a bar as well. Friends of the owner hangs out there as well so you get to know locals. If I would say something that could be improved it would be that all the outlets didn't work but it's not a problem at all. You won't regret staying here!!!

Misfit Hostel, Mancora, Peru
8.3
5th Feb 2016

It's a nice and chill hostel and it was nice to not stay in one of the party hostels. Positive: the bungalows are very cute and it's amazing if you just wanna chill on an empty beach. Everyone hangs out together at night and it's a cool atmosphere. Negative: to say some cans it would probably be that's it's not the closest hostel to the city (I never found it a problem) and the beds and outlets could be better (it's totally alright). I would recommend misfits!

This hostel has a working kitchen and places to eat. The common areas have good wifi. The staff is helpful and it's a good option if you're going to Lima. It's close to the beach and the surfing and it's in the middle of Miraflores more or less. Just a few minutes walk to most things in Miraflores.

Intro Hostels Cusco, Cusco, Peru
9.7
19th Jan 2016

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. It's not a party hostel, which is good if you're getting up early for tours to Machu Picchu. Breakfast is good with bread, yogurt and an egg. Everything is clean and the facilities look modern. The showers are hot and good with a nice pressure. You can book all the tours from the hostel and all the staff is helpful. Highly recommending Intro hostel!

16th Jan 2016

It is a good option in the middle of the city. Positive: Location is great, breakfast is good and you can book tours straight from the hostel. Staff is helpful and beds are comfy. Negative: I had problems with the heat in the showers. It worked for a minute or two and then it got freezing cold. They didn't have a lot of outlets that worked for charging phones. Over all a good, cheap option if you go to La Paz.

It's a cute hostel in the older parts, which is the place to see so you always feel like you're in the center. It's on a hill tho so it's good to take cab or bus if you have big bags. Good parts were good breakfast and that it's a cute, small place that makes it easy to meet people and cozy to hang around. Down part is the showers. I would recommend it still!

It is a good hostel but breakfast is not included but you can buy it at the hostel easily. The house is very pretty and it has a nice outdoor area with a pool bar. It is a very big hostel with many rooms and common areas which is good but also makes it a little bit hard to meet new people.

Rock Hostel Km0, Buenos Aires, Argentina

29th Nov 2015

It is one of the cheapest in Buenos Aires but one of the best I've visited. When I first arrived to the city I bumped in to some problems but the staff are always understanding and wants the best for you. The security is great. It is located in the center of the city and right next to a subte station. It is always clean since they clean twice a day, bathrooms and showers are great. It is a lot going on and a lot of parties so it's easy to meet friends. I highly recommend!

It's a good hostel in the central of cabo polonio. The staff is helpful and knows a lot about the area, buses and they are always willing to help. All of Cabo Polonio is more spartan and so is this hostel, but in a good way. Wifi was working more than expected when we were there. I would recommend it if you go to Cabo Polonio.

It's a pretty good hostel for the price since hostels in Montevideo is pricy in general. Not a lot of toilets or showers and not very clean but if you just ask for somewhere central to stay it's alright! Breakfast is good as well. The staff gives you tips about what to do and where to go.

I had a great stay here thanks to the clean facilities, exceptionally good service and great atmosphere. It is a small walk down to the center but it's not a problem. The front desk will help you with whatever problem you may have. During my stay it was a bus strike and the staff was very helpful to sort things out for all the guests, give lift, call embassies, help out with unused tickets and stuff. I can definitely recommend to stay here!

A great hostel with a great staff! You feel welcome right away and even though it's on 3rd and 4th floor and no elevator luggage was never a problem since the staff always offers to help out. Great security and access to a kitchen and storage of your groceries. 3-4 rooms are sharing one toilet and two showers but it never got too crowded anyway. It feels like living in a commune and it's easy to get friends and meet people. Great place!!
