Nice hostel, no lockers but does have locked storage room. Great common room and showers
An absolute gem, don't have a bad word to say. Best hostel in new Zealand
Nice hostel, good staff in a good location. Clean rooms and toilets, basic but would go back
Nice place, very clean and modern with lots of small separate common areas. Located in safe, upmarket area, near large supermarket and metro. However at night its a short taxi ride to the nearby restaurants and bars
Really nice place, friendly, cool pool and relaxing atmosphere
Gave this place an excellent on everything except security (no real lockers available and neighbourhood isn't great), and location (place is way out of the middle town and you are kind of stranded)
This place is very clean, with a nice little common area and balcony. We found it lacked a bar, cheap laundry service, free baggage storage, and the common areas seemed to have more staff than guests, the focus on the big TV didn't really help socialising. I would say this hostel will only get better as they have plans to add additional services and the staff were friendly, relaxed and helpful
Excellent place, good location. Beds were a little bit uncomfortable, and showers were located in a pretty communal part of the hostel. Enjoyed our stay here, great atmosphere and really friendly staff
Good place, quiet , nice friendly staff and interesting quirky building. A lot of street noise in the morning, not necessarily because of its central location, more to do with Quito itself, lots of dogs, car horns and people shouting
Five minutes from main square, comfortable beds, hot water, relaxed atmosphere and great staff. Just a brilliant place, couldn't recommend it more.
This place is in a great location, it's clean and the main woman running the place is lovely. We thought the other staff were rude and totally unhelpful. The showers were cold each morning as they kept running out of gas, not good if you are in a rush. The beds and floorboards are so noisy we couldn't sleep, glad to leave in the end.
Top place, if you stay in mancora you must stay here, great staff, chilled vibe and only five minutes from beaches and bars. Our three day stay ended up being a week.
Nice quiet place in good neighbourhood, would definitely go back
Party place on top of a hill, clean but a little noisy.
100% says it all surely... Perfect if you are looking for somewhere a little quieter, that said it's close to pubs & restaurants. A little bit of a steep climb up so accessibility may be an issue for some. Would definitely go back, top place
Good place, staff seemed to prioritise just about anything above customers. That said this place is clean, safe and in a good literation. I'd go back, but just be prepared to wait
We stayed here for two nights, one in a twin, another in a double. I found the place a little depressing, the bar and restaurant wasnt staffed either night, apparently staff rang in sick. The twin room was awful, private toilet was a room split with a common toilet. The double room was tiny. A lot is made of the breakfast, but it's in your bill and it gets pretty sparse if you aren't up early. As a couple sharing you can do much better for much cheaper, try hostal pahuichi.
Nice place, close to buses and the old town. Nice open courtyards and big bar area and pool table. Breakfast is pretty miserable, would prefer a cheaper room without it. Would go back.
starting with the bad, the staff are very friendly but we found they werent actually that good, we asked for our private room to be cleaned after two days, it wasn't after four, our laundry came back dirty after the second attempt and staff pointed us towards the bus terminal rather than help us book tickets over the phone. The good, really nice buildings, layout and gorgeous rooms. Friendly staff, good location. Very good breakfast, safe, clean and comfortable. Sucre is beautiful.
Great location, very basic/bad breakfast. Nice room off lovely internal courtyard. The staff need to find other work, clearly not interested in being friendly , helpful or competent. I wouldn't book a mine tour with them if I had a do-over. Internet just in reception.
This place was OK, positives - very warm showers and warm comfortable beds. Negatives - the staff messed up our booking so we ended up in a dorm rather than a private room. The breakfast is ridiculously plain. Good location near restaurants and a short walk to the bus.
Good place, nice staff, brilliant location. Close to all the pubs and restaurants of Palermo. Suited to couples Mohr than groups due to small common area and lack of bar. Enjoyed our stay.
Second stay here, great value and great facilities, staff were very helpful allowing us to move to avoid a snorer.
Loved this place, it was great for a quiet break from other hostels in b.a. great location if you do want to go out and really nice facilities if you don't. Would definitely recommend.
I didn't give it top marks as we had to wait a long time to check in, my guess is they forgot about us as it was busy. The location is good but its not on the cobbled streets and can be a little off putting on arrival. That's all the bad, everything else was fantastic, would definitely go back and recommend.
Good place, very friendly staff and brilliant location right beside bus station. The rooms are a little out of date ( a little musty ), plumbing is quite bad, a few leaks and breakfast is basic/poor. That said, location is excellent, pool table is a bonus and staff were very helpful advising on approach to a visit to iguazu. We've recommended this hostel to friends already.
Excellent place, saying the pool is a bit small isnt really a negative. I really liked this place, stayed in both the private room and the dorm, great food, very clean place. Definitely would go back.
This hostel came highly recommended, we are a couple new to the hostelling scene so don't have much to compare to. I was impressed with the common areas, this place creates a great atmosphere through its laid back approach, friendly staff, good tunes etc. Gus' tour was amazing, highly recommended. I was a little disappointed with the bedrooms, beds and overall cleanliness of the toilets and bedrooms could be improved. That said, I'd go back because of the great staff and good location.
Was quite disappointed with this place, it started with the poor location, almost impossible to find ( get directions before even trying), no signs anywhere. Rooms were OK, toilets were poor, musty/damp smell everywhere. The next point isn't the hostels fault but worth knowing - we were woken every night / morning by dogs living next door. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good.
Low budget hostel with hotel vibe, very friendly service. Basic enough facilities, was a little shocked when I arrived but pleasantly surprised as we settled in. Very close to ipenema beach and restaurants, I would go back
