Factory Gardens Hostel

Barcelona, Spain

Good location, nice hostel- beds are comfy with curtain, personal light, and outlet, and big locker storage for your bag. All positives! When I was there is was very quiet, not a lot going on or people wanting to go out. Delicious bakery across the street

FIN Hostel Phuket Kata Beach

Phuket, Thailand

Phuket sucks, don't spend very much time there... Fin hostel is pretty good. I stayed in the 10 bed dorm Pros: there was air con and your own powerpoint and light, and the common room has a cool drop down projector for movie nights. Cons: no lockers which sucks when you want to go swimming at the beach and can't stash your valuables, staff not super helpful, short walk to beach but it's through a creepy walkway next to an open sewer river.

Itll do for paris, its cheap enough. Weird vibes though. The common area is not set up to be social, small tables, kinda weird. Tiny kitchen, miniature showers that are really hard to shower in, but the breakfat was pretty good.

Ecohostel Andromeda

Gent, Belgium

Pretty cool hostel! On a boat, but its not cramped and theres no seasickness! Good vibes, eco-friendly, cosy.

Hotel Bussola

Capri, Italy

Its nice that this hotel is in Anacapri, not as touristy as Capri. But the hotel is down this huge hill- about a 15-20 minute walk from the town and buses and everything- with a big backpack, that walk is not fun. And the signs/directions are a little hard to follow. But it is the cheapest option I could find on Capri, and it was clean and safe, and a nice enough place to stay. The lady who works the desk is very friendly but overwhelms you with information.

Seven Hostel

Sorrento, Italy

Very nice hostel! Bar and restaurant and rooftop area. A small walk from the train station, breakfast included. The bed were really good here.. attached to the walls so so creaking from your bunkmate and set up really high so that you could sit up in the top and bottom bunk. If you are going to sorrento, stay here- its one train stop away from the town of sorrento.

Hostel Mancini

Naples, Italy

Nice hostel, not really good city.. Very dirty and kind of dangerous area near the train station, biut the hostel is a small oasis- very clean, colorful, breakfast included, friendly staff. The key situation is a little weird, you don't get your own key to keep with you, but it still seemed pretty safe, they have to buzz you into the building. Very close to some excellent pizza places- try Michelles and Gino Sobrillo! Not really a party hostel, but more mellow.

Camping Rialto

Venice, Italy

This is camping the luxurious way. You get a bed to sleep in, in your tent. If you don't have a problem with a couple bugs crawling in your tent, it is a cheap way to get to see venice. On site market is reasonably priced, Nice Campground with grass area, Easy bus ride to get to Venice. Take your showers at night or super early in the morning though, because they run out of hot water!

Villa Manos

Santorini, Greece

I can't say enough good things about the people who run this hotel! They gave me free pickup.drop off, were very helpful in arranging activities, gave me food multiple times, and even sent me off with a bottle of wine! They treat you like family when you come to stay! Location is quite a walk to the town of fira- if you come in the off season, rent a car or atv and you will have a wonderful time (the bus stop is right outside the hotel but off season buses are rare.) A very quiet place to stay.
