Incredible and friendly hostel! Thank you to all!
Great hostel, right on the beach!
I have never been so shocked and astounded by staff at a hostel. Although most staff were lovely there was one English lady who just made our experience horrible. She yelled at all the guest for petty reasons. My friend had her card swollen at a cash point and she ended up just yelling at us for no reason giving no help. If you want a nice experience in terms of staff pick somewhere else!
This hostel was a lot better than I expected. It is so cheap and close to the ZOB which was handy if you're catching an early morning bus. People seemed to get annoyed by having to pay for sheets an extra charge of €2.5. Overall for a couple of nights it was fine, my a very good hostel atmosphere though, if you're there to make friends I wouldn't count on it.
If you find Australians annoying, don't stay here. It is full of topdeck an busabout people who just want to get extremely smashed! It has an amazing pool but to get into actual venice is a bit of a struggle and costly as you either catch the 4€ each way shuffle or the local bus which is a hefty walk. The rooms are really nice and staff really helpful. Cheapest place in venice to stay but doesn't have a kitchen :(
No kitchen which is always annoying as you can't make your own food. I was really sick one day and woke up in the middle of the night to get water and I had one of the staff yell at me. On a good note the beds are comfy and it is clean along with being very social. Enjoyed my stay here but one of the staff members also made it unenjoyable.
Really enjoyed this hostel with Ben being a great manager. It is down the hill from the main area which was fine but became an issue when trying to find our way back to the hostel. Also went on the organised desert trip which was great but well over priced! The hostel is fairly small so not the most social place but still meant some lovely people. Thanks Ben!
This hostel was nice but the location was out of the way and it didnt have a very good atmosphere. It's a great idea having people with disabilities working at the hostel! It's a very family holiday place!
We really liked Nimmos and Jimmy was a lovely man. The kitchen was really good with free coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The atmosphere was good with everyone really friendly, very personal and cosy. The showers weren't top notch but did the job..just..water pressure is relatively low for both toilets and shower. Location is excellent, really accessible to everything although you're not on the main strip - at times it was difficult to sleep as there was a pub next door with live music. Thanks!
Really great hostel, huge and very well organised! Constantly being cleaned and the security is very intense! The common area is nice but couches wouldn't go astray. Breakfast included cornflakes and toast and tea and coffee. Constantly things to do and the free walking tour is great along with the pub crawl. Location is right in the middle, perfect! Thanks Isaacs!
