We booked a double room with ensuite and had a great stay. Our room was cleaned daily which was great and the staff also really helpful. The location is quiet and bed very comfortable. It is really close to the train station so we didn't have to carry our luggage over the canals. Good value stay.

22nd Nov 2013

Great guest kitchen. Staff very friendly and helpful. 9 Bed Dorm very spacious with separate toilet and bathroom which is great when there are so many people in the room! Comfortable beds. Accommodation can get very pricey in Salzburg but this is definitely value for money. It's about a 20min walk into the old town but if it is raining (like it did the whole weekend we stayed) then the bus stop is really close and reasonable as well. Overall great stay here.

This is our second stay with Wombats in Munich. We have found their hostel really accommodating. Friendly knowledgeable staff and dorm rooms that are spacious and comfy. I will admit they can be a little more expensive than the other hostels in Munich but it's definitely worth staying with them. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Kitchen spacious but lacking equipment considering how many guests could be cooking at the same time. Not far from the main train station. But overall Wombats never fail to impress!

Great location in Kitzbuhel. We stayed off peak so it was really quiet. Snowbunnys have everything you need; hot showers, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, free breakfast and a great TV system for days that you want to just escape the weather! Dave is a fountain of knowledge on all things local and abroad. He loves and chat and we heard some great stories. We look forward to returning next time we need a place to crash in Kitzbuhel.

Amazing hostel! Everything is well laid out and actually thought about! Individual lights, shelf and electricity plugs for each bed in the dorms. The girl dorm room that I stayed in had a hairdryer (an a real decent one at that!). Security is quite good, need a swipe card for each level and room. Staff we soo helpful and actually gave you their time of day! It is a little bit more expensive than other hostels near the train station but it was money well spent! Definitely recommend this hostel.

Good value for money. 16 bed dorm spacious, beds super comfy, individual lockers. Great kitchen to cook lunch and dinner in. Some of the staff really helpful and happy but one was quite short with me during our stay, I overheard a conversation later that she was really tired and everyone (meaning the guests) kept bothering her, not something I particularly want to hear, especially when it's her job to help people. But overall great hostel.

Staff were friendly. 14 bed dorm (rm102) was quite noisy as all the sound from the hallway and opposite bathrooms comes through. Would be helpful if the bathroom doors were self closing as nobody bothered to close the door so the noise carried out into the rooms. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned more than once a day when there are school groups, especially in the girls, hair everywhere! Location is close to main train station. Enough variety in the breakfast. Overall value for money is ok.

Arrived 3am and our twin room that we booked had been sold. We emailed them to let them know we would be late. Disappointed. Double room spacey, don't expect them to clean your room or refresh your towels unless you actually ask, otherwise they will just empty your bin and give you a couple rolls of toilet paper. 24hr bar good place to hang out after sightseeing all day. Meals overpriced and average, restaurant straight infront of hostel excellent for cheap brekky. Secret wall tour excellent.

Hello Thank you for your comments. Your email stated you would arrive around 12 midnight but you arrived at 3am, so it was hard for reception to keep the room for you. We hope that you understand this. We are happy that you liked our 24 hour bar - many other hostel guests and locals also visit the bar. The same goes for our Secret Wall tour - a perfect way to see the Wall, without all the tourists and hassle. See you next time Regards Leo Hostel

Helpful staff. Lots of recommendations of tourist attractions and local eatery's in foyer. Great walking guide with local. Kitchen and dining amazingly clean & organized. Felt happy to cook and eat a meal in there. Toilets and showers also very clean. Dorm was a little cramped but that's only if you're getting picky! Would go back in a heartbeat! Loved it!

Room a little smelly (musty) so we had to keep window open. Only one shared shower so a bit frustrating and we didn't shower because someone was in there for 30mins!! Silly really. Staff were lovely and good common room and kitchen facilities. Beds have thin mattress so not super comfy.

On a quite alley. Staff were very friendly and were welcomed with a cold drink. They gave us a map of the area and pointed out certain points of interest. Room was clean (aircon ok but not amazing). Breakfast included was good. Helped us call a taxi to the train station and let us shower in the afternoon after we checked out in the morning. Overall happy with our stay.

Staff weren't accommodating. Refused to let us check in before noon, without even asking our name or checking if the room was ready, then they had the nerve to call us up in the afternoon and ask what time we were checking out the next day. Restaurant food was average (better off heading out, turning left and going to the second restaurant along). Swimming pool was a highlight, along with the bar. Great place if you want to meet young people, lots of backpackers. Overall ok, but won't return.

My partner and I stayed here in for 3 nights. We have been traveling through S.E Asia for 2 months and it was one of the best places we've stayed! The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived. It was great to be given advice and a map of what is in the area. The private double room was spacious but cosy. Lots of natural lightening, very clean room, towels changed daily and housekeeping staff (and staff in general) actually acknowledged us! Keep up the good work!!
