The location is fantastic, once you have found it. Make sure you have a working phone and contact them so they can pick you up. The accommodation itself is okay, there is no common room so people just sort of congregate outside your room; not great if you have an early flight the next morning. The facilities aren't the best; no hair dryer for example. The rooms are small, and slightly cramped. Air- conditioning is fantastic, but to be expected. Slightly disapointing.

The room was small, but serviceable due to the excellent air conditioner, the beds were comfortable top. The bathroom was dated, unclean and unventilated; but towels were provided. Make sure you read the room types carefully, this could catch you out and you might end up with no kitchen facilities. The host was lovely and very willing to help, she provided us with some great advice about the town and were to eat, and was very accommodating.

We were greeted by Paula who spent ten or so minutes going over the map of Barcelona with us; pointing out good places to go, which was lovely. Luckily we had a terrace with chairs and tables were we could eat all of our meals; it was the highlight of our stay. We did feel as though it could have been kept a bit cleaner and the first set of towels we were giving for our ten day stay, smelt very bad. Also because we came in the middle of summer, the fan wasn't really sufficient in keeping us cold

We, my boyfriend and I, were offered an upgrade for 5 Euros each per night, which included ac and a private bathroom. The stay would not have been enjoyable without these additions; our friends had neither and didn't have the best nights sleep. Having said, the price you pay is an indication for what you get; on the whole this place is good value for money. Note: our AC stopped working in one room after five nights and we had to swap rooms for the remainder of our stay.
