Great deal for the money and very close to the famous Temple Bar district. Bus stop right by the hostel, and everything you will want to go to is within a 20-25 minute walk. 24 bed hostel is definitely very different, but it is a good deal and a clean secure place with helpful staff. Would recommend!

Awesome hostel - they have a happy hour every night with 1 Euro beers, and it created an awesome chance to meet everyone who gathers in their social area for it. Only about a 10 min walk from the center square, and there are a couple of pizza/kebab places only a couple minute walk away open late. Would recommend!

Hostel Elf was one of my favorite hostels we stayed at during our month of backpacking. The patio area provides an excellent atmosphere to meet people, and we met the most amount of people on our whole trip. The sausage was awesome, and there was more than enough to go around (everyone that night got 2-3). VERY cheap beer, and super close to the train station. 100% recommend.

The hostel was definitely a good place to meet young travelers, and in a perfect location. Other than a staff member named Leandro, the rest of the staff was not overly friendly or would not go out of their way to help. The place nickel and dimed for locks, towels, and DOESN'T let you use your Credit Card if under R$150 - a good thing to know before hand to know how much cash to bring. Breakfast isn't fantastic, but it does the job. Not 100%, but a good hostel nonetheless.

This is the perfect hostel if you are planning on going to see the Cataratas! It is no more than a 15 minute walk from the property, and the place is absolutely beautiful. The staff are extremely friendly and laid back, speak multiple languages, and will help you with anything. The whole facility is really nice, especially the bar that only closes "once everyone goes to sleep". The rooms are a perfect size, and every morning you get a top notch breakfast. Definitely exceeded my expectations!
