Overall a lovely hostel. Great common room with lots of instruments meant it had a very friendly and cool atmosphere. Movie room on one of the levels as well. Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Clean communal bathroom. Kitchen facilities great and fantastic breakfasts. Also very well situated. And very friendly staff!

Clean and well situated hostel with great facilities. Nice sitting room at the front reception. The four bed ensuite dorm was luxurious! Beds had their own plug-in stations and lights and were comfortable. Only qualms were that WIFI and breakfast were not included. Good kitchen facilities though. Wasn't around long enough to gauge the atmosphere unfortunately.
More than your usual hostel. I'm so happy to have stumbled upon this place. It has an incredibly warm and fun atmosphere thanks to the owners Rory & Hannah, who are absolute legends. If there's something interesting on in town, they'll know about it, or be running it themselves. Was lucky enough to be here for their first organised stand up comedy night, such a blast. Facilities are next to none; comfy beds, hot showers, fully equipped kitchen and cozy sitting room and "cave". Thanks again guys
Staff here are absolutely lovely and very helpful. One of the best hostels I have stayed at in Dublin. Very well situated in the heart of Temple Bar, but surprisingly noise was never a problem. Great breakfast and good kitchen facilities. Comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Nice relaxed vibe. Could do with a better common area. All in all a great choice if you're staying in Dublin.
Stayed in a private double room for two nights. The room itself was spacious enough and clean. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable. The ensuite could use some improvements - there was no border for the shower, so you essentially had to wipe down the whole bathroom floor after use. The sink was also tiny. Nice common room with lots of activities - pool, table tennis, TV, guitar for hire. Cool place to hang out and meet people. Location also great. Just out from Temple Bar
Abbey Court is a bit of a labyrinthe. Has lots of cool areas to hang out in, but this does have the downside of making it a little impersonal. Perhaps not the best for a lone traveller. Otherwise, the beds and lockers were fine. The kitchen can get a quite roudy later in the evening, and it's usually a good place to meet people
Just what you expect of a Wombats Hostel - immaculately clean, great facilities and secure premises. Didn't have the greatest atmosphere as there isn't really a nice big area to hang out and meet people. Although they do have a bar on the top floor. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Well located - Rosa-Luxemburg Platz uBahn just around the corner. A REWE not far, and lots of convenience stores close by + cafes and restaurants.
Was really disappointed with this "hostel". It doesn't have a hostel atmosphere at all unfortunately. Also, the kitchen isn't available for use. This was very annoying to discover, as the manager had said I could use the kitchen but had to wait 30mins. He subsequently disappeared and I had another staff member inform me of the no kitchen rule-after having bought groceries. The rest of the staff (besides the quite rude manager) were lovely. Stay down the road in the Meninger, it was 100x better.
Really enjoyed my stay at Souika. Unbelievably cheap The roof-top "dorm" is quite a cool set up. It's rigged up with sheets as walls and mattresses on the floor. All adds to the excellent vibe of the place. So easy to meet people. Very well located. The only problem I had was with 1 staff member - I emailed in advance to cancel one night, they had replied saying this was fine and I would not be charged, but the man on the front desk was adamant I pay, and was very rude about it all. Otherwise,
Well located. Spacious interior and lots of areas to hang out. Having a restaurant on the premises is handy if you don't feel like venturing out. Not sure on what the kitchen situation is...I saw one, but not positive it was available for guest use. The only qualm I had about this hostel was the staff. They weren't particularly friendly ...actually quite rude sometimes which was disappointing. Also, tours to the Sahara from here were expensive - save your coin and do one from Marrakech
Lovely staff, fantastic atmosphere, great breakfast and perfect location. Great base to work from in Marrakech. Was only meant to stay two nights, ended up staying 5. Thank you Karim and abbey :) !!
Wild Fig was a wonderful hostel. The atmosphere was great, the staff were friendly and helpful and the "deluxe 8 bed dorm" was clean, had great aircon, comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. Kitchen had lots of utensils and fridge space. Events run at the hostel made for fun nights when there was average weather. Don't miss a cuddle with "Fig" the blind kitten and make sure you have a fresh fig off the tree out the front. Thank you Wild Fig!!
One of my best hostel experiences thus far. Location was ideal, right in the heart of Old Town. Facilities were great, and the aircon a welcome relief. Atmosphere was incredible thanks to the amazing staff who give you a run down on the city upon arrival and who are always available to help and always up for a chat. Thank you Antonia, Johnny and Steve! Also, make sure you donate an item of clothing to Johnny's patchwork pants!!!
Nice spacious rooms (2x 2 bed rooms), with good bathroom facilities. A little bit of a walk down to the beach and to other areas of town, but it meant the view was great. Not sure about the general atmosphere...didn't really meet many other people staying there except for the room sharing our terrace. Don't know if there was a common room or what not. But all in all, nice place with clean sheets and spacious rooms.
