Stayed in a 10 bed dorm for 3 nights and it was great. The common room
Stayed in a 3 bed dorm which is of a good size it would be good if the room had a tv though. Mainly because apart from the rooftop and pub downstairs there is nowhere you can chill out. Washing machines could do with a good cleaning or replacing. Nice staff, food was bland only really excellent point is that it has a good location 10 mins to Kings Cross or in the other direction to the Centre. Good luck trying to connect to the WIFI it was a nightmare.
The key things why I booked this place is because A. Price and B. Location that's what the hostel is good for. One stop away from KL Sentral station and 50 metres to the nearest station. Chinatown just right around the corner and Central market opposite. Didn't speak that much to reception/staff so can't give a comment. Booked a 24 bed dorm and luckily it was almost empty for the 2 nights. Breakfast was toast and a hot drink on the rooftop terrace. Lockers were a good size, would stay again
A really nice hostel to stay in, the common area is beautifully decked out with a flat screen and choice of movies. Kitchen/breakfast area is also nice. Rooms are clean, you have a good size 'cage' to lock a backpack in, showers/toilets are kept clean. A 5 min walk to the beach. The only minor issue I had is that I stayed just before Christmas so the price was increased in which I could of found a bungalow for much cheaper closer to the beach. The girls at reception are lovely, would stay again
Good location away from the party area so could get a good nights sleep. However the mattress are hard on the back, but not too bad. The bathroom had a funky smell sometimes. No common area which is a shame, would be great if they had a tv to watch movies for those who don't wish to party. Overall room was clean, small and priced ok. Would stay again
The only thing that lets this place down is one of the ladies at reception. She was absolutely useless and did not know anything. Room was clean, good size locker under the bed, plenty of clean showers. 2 good bars and a ok selection of movies. 1 min walk to the pier to catch the boat to Railay which is worth doing. Would stay again!
In a quiet part of town, outside the main nightlife strip which is a good 20 minute walk, 1 minute from the beach. The lady at reception is lovely and helpful she helped with everything from recommended places to eat, and booking my onward travel to Krabi for a good price compared to other agencies in town. Only thing to note is that there is construction work going on next door so from about 9 a.m you will be woken up and it finishes around 5-6 p.m. Would stay again!
If you like to party, then this is the place. Beer pong on the front courtyard, happy hour and a good place to meet people. Paul, Jordan and Jessica all want you to have a good time. Stayed here for the half moon party and it was great! You have the supermarket right next door and best to hire a motorbike to get around as everything is spread out. Only issue is that the bathroom downstairs smelt like sewage. Would stay again
Stayed here for 4 nights and shared a dorm room towards the back which is good for getting a good nights sleep away from the party goers. Bed was comfy and the location was great tucked down a small road with street food, the lake and everything all close by. Staff are friendly would stay here again
Booked a 4 bed dorm and got 1 box room just for myself which for me was not what I would of liked because I was travelling solo, so no one to communicate with the first 3 nights slept ok and the last night I had the problem that most travellers have in HK. Cockroaches woke me up at 5.30 in the morning in my bed and on me. Didn't stay in the actual building I had booked and never saw the staff only on the first day and that was to pay. Feel sorry for whoever has to sleep in that room
Enjoyed my stay here, the girls at reception were nice they helped me out with my train ticket. The hostel is big and spacious, rooms are ok size too. Shower and W.C clean, the roof terrace is lovely in & outside, good value for money. The hostel made an effort to host a party, which was good. Common area has a pool table and tabled tennis a reading room and a movie room. Only slight issue is that the noise from the air con was loud but it was ok for me as I slept with earplugs. Would stay again
Stayed here for 3 nights and was great for location the staff are friendly when I couldn't book my train ticket to Shanghai at the ticket office they were able to help. Felt like a mini hotel instead of a hostel. Food prices are reasonable, the only minor issue is that the bathroom in the dorm I stayed smelt of sewage at times and the pillows were not comfy. Would stay again
Good location North of the Forbidden City. The room I stayed in was a bit small, but you have the lobby and open terrace to compensate. Reasonable size lockers in the rooms however on the 2nd floor only 2 showers and 2 toilets which is small considering there are quiet a few rooms. The cafe downstairs interior is lovely however the prices are not despite the 10% discount they offer. Booked one of the less touristy Great Wall tours from here which was great, nice staff would stay again
Stayed in one of the Annex buildings 1 minute from the main building and it is newly renovated. Just like a mini apartment, 1 big shower/toilet with a bit of a dodgy door to open and close and 1 small toilet with shower. Good nights sleep despite being close to a busy street. Breakfast included and meet some cool people here. Hop on a bus and its 2 stops away from 2 of the palaces. Would stay again, owner is great fun
Mr Kim and his wife Julie were great, on my first night Julie invited me to dinner with her friend felt really at home. Mr Kim was very helpful, and gave honest opinion when I told him how long I had left in Korea. 7 minute walk from Metro station, good location in between everything (Busan station, Centum city, Gwangalli
At the end of the shopping arcade, close to Canal city, couple of stops from Hakata station. Everything at yr door step food, shopping
Good location, beautiful hostel feels more like a hotel. Spacious, very clean, big cupboards for storing your case/backpacker, quiet so you get a good nights sleep. Kitchen, common area amazing would come back again
20-25 minutes from Hiroshima station, but only 7 minute walk to peace memorial park. Hotel staff friendly and kind, stayed in a Japanese style room with tatami matts best nights sleep ever. Small locker that fits everything. Shower and toilet clean loads of information for sightseeing in and outside Hiroshima. Would stay again
Good location, clean, felt like 'new' guesthouse. Staff are friendly. Small restaurant on the ground floor. WIFI everywhere and beds are comfy. Only downside is the locker, is really tiny but if you have just a money belt than that's fine if you have more personal stuff it's not going to fit. Also on a busy main road so do hear the noise from down below. Overall good
Bed was comfy Good location Staff were friendly
