great place to stay, very clean and wifi excellent. arrived too early to check in and staff were happy to keep our bags while we went to explore ($5 charge) nearest subway is a 3 block walk which is a bit of a pain and our room was facing the road which meant we were kept up til late at night by the traffic as the window was kept open by the A/C unit.

excellent location, staff are wonderful, hostel is very social and everyone is so friendly! good connections by bus into LA city centre- slightly confusing but the staff were excellent help explaining it all and even printed off a map for us with directions. couldn't be closer to the beach or any of the bars and restaurants in hermosa beach, which is great but this means the hostel is very loud at night as its right above a bar! im a heavy sleeper so it didnt bother me! i loved it here!

This apartment was great for a small break in the city. short walk from 137th street subway with direct connection into the heart of Manhattan and Times Sq. Two double bedrooms were great but the 3rd bed is a sofa pull out, which was fine for us but may not be suitable for others. Excellent facilities- TV, high speed wifi, kitchen bathroom and felt very safe even though just inside Harlem! Just enough room for the 6 of us- this place is perfect if you are looking for a cheap weekend with friends
