Puzzle Hostel

Bucharest, Romania

This hostel was just what I needed for my short stay in Bucharest. it was close enough to all the main areas of town (15-20 minute walks); was fun but not crazy; provided hot showers, towels, wi-fi, and a decent breakfast. The staff was really nice and helped me out a lot with questions and tips.

Hotel Basilea Dipendenza

Venice, Italy

It was not ideal that we booked our stay with one hostel, and upon arrival they sent us to another. Additionally, our room in the new location had a double bed instead of two twins, and they almost refused to serve us breakfast in the morning, although our confirmation said breakfast was included. Overall though, it was in a great location next to the main train station, it was clean, and generally people were polite.
