Good value for the location (aprox. 5 min away from Alexanderplatz). It is a 10 story building. We stayed in two different 6 person mixed dorms. For the first two nights we stayted in the 4th floor and the shower and bathroom were separated from each other, which was nice. The other night we stayed at the 10th floor in a room that had standard shower/bathroom facilities. The room in this floor was not as clean as the first one. It seems they had not cleaned the last guest's garbage.
Personal atento, todo lo demás correcto.
We didn't like neighboorhood too much but it is well connected by bus and underground. (Also close to several supermarkets and restaurants). Most of the staff is kind and helpful and they can point you to the right direction for your visits. Rooms are adequate enough for most hostel travelers (no luxury, just tidy and clean). Be sure to bring your own padlock, shampoo, bath gel and power adapters unless you're willing to pay additionally.

Staff was really helpful and they speak several languages. They recommended some neat places to have a dinner and to visit during our stay. Group activities are really good, specially fado night. The location couldnt be better because you have the Baixa Chiado station just next to the building and it can be used to go down or uphill. Rooms are well lit and clean. Not very loud even though theres a lot going on outside. The living room is great for resting and kitchen is well equipped.
