Great hostel, would definitely stay here if I am ever in San Pedro again. Very accomodating, and clean for a desert, tours provided were good and cheaper than those offered in town. Free pick up and cheap laundry. Only spoke spanish- lovely homely family run hostel.

Thank you very much for the review! It is the most important thing for us to give a homely, relaxed feeling to our guests. Welcome back any time you are in Mendoza. Cheers!

Why stay somewhere which is double the price and the facilities are worse than any hostel i have been in. Kitchen is ill equipped- no cooker, no microwave, no basic utensils, no pans with handles. Rooms are small with not enough space. All this is fine if paying a normal rate. Party atmosphere is great, had some really good nights out however you can definitely join the party as a guest or, if you want to experience the culture rather than get drunk with people from your local area, find a bar!

Che Lagarto Hostel Buenos Aires

Would definitely recommend this hostel! I stayed in a few hostels in Buenos Aires and even though this was the cheapest, it was by far the best. Great facilities, staff are amazing and looked after us very well- went further than what we would expect from any hostel. Very clean, spacious but more importantly CHEAP!

Staff are very nice, rooms are spacious with lots of plug sockets and lockers with plug sockets inside too! Bar is nice and cheap, although cant bring your own drinks in. Kitchen is well equipped, fairly big.. no breakfast though (although if youre out drinking you probably wouldnt make it anyway). Would definitely stay here again.

Studio Beach Hostel

Ilha Grande, Brazil

I stayed here with my boyfriend on a tight budget at the start of a 5 month trip and the kitchen facilities were sufficient, we had a double bed, the rooms were cleaned every day and breakfast is the best breakfast i have had in a hostel, lots of cake and fruit and bread, ham and cheese. The lady who runs the hostel isnt very nice and they are generally unorganised... but it meant we ended up in a better room paying for the cheaper one as a result! Would come back tothis hostel if here budget
